Wondering how real this Heat shooting from the last round was. Jimmy is gonna be Jimmy but gonna be hard to win if that whole team is gonna shoot like that from 3.

And then seeing if Mitch can continue versus Bam

Randle's a good player but he makes the Knicks easier to defend. His inefficiency as a scorer + the Knicks poor 3 point shooting just tells me Heat should play zone and focus on keeping them off the glass.

Randle's a little below average from 3 (34.3% v 36.1%) but his TS is bang on league-average (58.1%) despite the volume. So I would disagree that Julius makes us easier to defend...at least when he's fully fit, hobbled like he was the first 4 games against Cleveland and having no legs under his shots, that's a different story.

Will be interesting if you can get away with playing much zone. We shot like butt in round 1, but aren't a terrible 3pt shooting team...we're firmly middle of the road...and zones can be vulnerable to our offensive rebounding.

Part of me feels like we shouldn't rush julius back before his ankle is good enough for him to play with the power he normally does. On the other, even a hobbled Julius could help us wear Bam down and pull him away from the rim...

Obi has stepped up well in Julius' absence before, Barrett & Hart can pick up minutes at the 4, and we have enough talent to still be a tough opponent for most teams.

...but our chances would be a lot stronger if we could get Julius back and he was able to pick up where he left off in game 5 of the Cleveland series.

Only concern with Obi is guarding Love on 3pt which he has done bad job in the past.

I feel like this is one of those, not as good as it was against Milwaukee but not as bad as it was in the regular season, things. Their centers are the only guys in their rotation who are genuinely aweful shooters...but Vincent & Martin are much more average from 3 than they are 42%+ guys, ya know? Definitely going to be very different from the Cleveland series.
