Who gives a **** we haven’t won a banner in 15 years and have 1 in almost 40

All titles aren’t created equal. If we win I want it to be impressive and with no excuses. Our best championship as an organization is 1984 for a reason. Because we beat a stacked, all-time great Lakers team. People have been discounting every championship since 2015 because of injuries. And there’s a huge difference between losing your 3rd best player (Herro) and 1st (Embiid) or 2nd (Middleton)

Offensive rebounds matters so much. Watching Kevin looney do his thing.. One problem when Boston has 5 guys out no 1 goes inside to rebound.. Also another reason why I don't care if a center has a good 3 point shot or not.. Can't get a rebound standing on the 3 point line

I always liked Harrison bonds as a good role player coming off the bench for us but as a starter he absolutely has never hit big shots that I can remember in the playoffs..

It doesn't. I thought you were worried about Looney killing the Celtics on the glass in a potential rematch in the Finals. You are right that the Celtics as an organization put the emphasis on getting back instead of pursuing the offensive board but to be fair Timelord is one of the very best offensive rebounder in the entire league.

You should care if your center has a three point shot or not. There's no need to grab the offensive board if you make the shot in the first place.

Celts need to cleanse us of the stink the Bruins left on the Garden floor...Tonight...Game 1. There's no messing around in this series. Celts need punch the 6ers in the mouth early and show them who's boss. The path is there for a return trip to the finals. I sure hope our guys are locked in and ready. We need a rebound after that brutal collapse by the Bruins.

strong disagree here. Our "center" may take only a few 3s per game. But if he is often/always standing outside, there will be not put backs or extra possessions when others shoot. Not saying that shooting 3s for centers is Bad (Horford) but there is a trade off.

My opinion is a Center needs to be Good at something. Shooting 3s is not a necessity at all IMO. Would anyone complain about having Kevin Looney right now?
