Seattle is good. I've watched them via Canucks. They got a rookie I think is gonna be a star. Benier. I think he has a chance to be the best American player ever. :o Not to mention Eberle. Dude is awesome but keeps being passed off because of the stupid hard cap.

Well the two toughest and most talented teams in the East ... are out. Jose Calderon himself couldn't have escorted the Leafs on an easier path to the SC finals.

Come on brother, we both should agree that the Bruins deserve no sympathy!
For lease.

Same. I do this in every sport.

I don't watch the NFL either, but I will always tune in to Patriots playoff games to cheer on the opposing team.

It's petty, but it's fun. I cheer against NY, Philly, and Tampa teams as well, but not as hard since they haven't been nearly as successful as Boston teams in my lifetime.

Historically a dirty team and franchise that indulges the worst aspects of the game. It's always good to see them and their entitled fanbase humbled

Barkov is an underrated player. I'm guessing he'll see alot of matthews when Florida is at home. I thought Keefe should've loaded up the first line during the Tampa series. That might be less true against panthers.

I was in a pool hall during the game. Looked like Florida was dominating the first two periods. Happy to see Boston out. How does that city even get excited anymore? Red Sox, pats, bruins. They been spoiled.

12 pro sports titles since 2001. They've needed to be humbled for a while.

can the leafs actually win though, they blew up the team and tanked hard to get Marner, Mathews, Reily, Nylander. Not sure tanking will work.

They've now finally made it to the second round, the traditional stopping place for the process.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

Leafs looking like the early 2nd round Stanley Cup favorite after beating Tampa Bay and seeing the Avs and Bruins lose.

Watching our fathers die like that reminded me of a certain HBO episode involving a plane
