Brice would be my pick as of today....Just cause he would fill a need for us....We need a shot maker bad....And in this draft Brice has the most upside for as an elite scorer in our draft range....Can pull up from the mid range and shoots the 3 ball at a high percentage...On the offensive end prolly shows the most upside in our draft range.

Injury and conditioning concern. Forget about defensive rating, of the rotation players he has the 5th best ORtg on his team. This is akin to Jabari Smith and Walker Kessler as I pointed out. Kessler is an analytical darling like Poeltl. Brice is like the JHS of forwards. Can they succeed despite what the numbers say?

I guess he could be the bigger version of Aaron Nesmith, who was drafted #14 in 2020.

Brice Sensabaugh gives me Dion Waiters vibes. Bulky guard who can make difficult shots, but doesn't do much else.

At least Whitehead used to be athletic. Does training staff think he can recover 100% and trim back down?

Neither Brice nor Dariq are boneheads like Waiters was

Waiters ended up having a decent career. He played 8 years, averaging 13 PPG. Likelihood is at least one of Whitehead or Brice doesn't even achieve that level of success.

I'm hoping Masai falls in love with him and moves someone for another pick. Seems like the type of prospect with high return value looking back.

I've evaluated all the prospects in our range and just want the lottery to get here. I have some that I'm enamored with, and some that I'd rather avoid. But it'll be easier to narrow down the potential guys once the lottery and combine get here.

I'm at the point where I'm bored with it and need the combine/lottery to spice it up again.

In the same mindset its getting repetitive. I have a strong feeling these mocks will change quite a bit once workouts and combine roll around.

If all we want is someone who gets buckets and doesn't do anything else, might as well just get the tallest player who can do so in Brice.

Maybe he'll learn how to pass like Derozan in his later years..... But Derozan locked himself in the gym every summer working on his game. Haven't read anything about Brice's work ethic (or lack thereof).

But this Podziemski name keeps appearing. I'm becoming way more interested in him now than Keyonte/Nick Smith Jr

Podz is the real deal man. I really like him

Ive watched his highlights and I don’t see much athleticism or explosiveness needed for a guard to succeed in the NBA. The guy has great stats in college but I rarely see him get past his defenders off the dribble. Probably better suited for the college/Euro leagues.

Some trade down opportunities for #13

to Pacers for 26, 29, 33
to Brooklyn for 22, 23
to Utah for 16, 28

If Masai wants Coulibably he is going to have to take him at 13. I still believe he goes lottery when it is all said and done.

Probably the minority, but I much rather hang onto the 13th pick. Utah if they add a really good incentive....... maybe Brooklyn.

But we're just playing with fire if we're going to drop that low into the draft. We've become a victim of our own success hitting on late picks/undrafted FAs and it's caught up to us. At the very least Indiana needs to cough up one of their glut of guards (Duarte/Nembhard) with those picks and I'd still have to think about that.

I just trust Masai way more when given a higher pick.

I dont see us trading down either. Seems like we will just add this pick to our other younger players and roll with it

Koloko, Precious, Banton, Dowtin, 13th pick can all contribute next season in some way
