Lost us the chip last year and the same **** happening again with worse defense. They just don’t execute in clutch time. This series is over

I guess this is the harsh reality that us Celtic fans need to accept - they're just not clutch and don't know how to execute down the stretch.

This is not a serious Celtics team. I’m going to get bashed for this but so be it. This team doesn’t defend anymore, they don’t take care of business, no killer instinct and still turn the ball over late in the game.

Celtics played drop coverage all the way to Harden scoring 45 points. No adjustments.

Looking forward to the Celtics players saying they have learned their lesson.

They didn’t play drop coverage on the last play where he dropped a bomb on Horford’s head. Same as Trae in game 5. They let guys get red hot all game with clean looks at the basket before they change it up and by then it’s too late.

I've been a big supporter on Joe most of the season. He was pretty bad tonight. Made no adjustments. After a hot start for Harden and no one being able to guard him, I would have put in Pritchard for a few minutes to pressure him bringing up the ball. Try something Joe. He is a rookie coach with very little experience on his side as far as assistant coaches.

Nobody was yelling at the players not to walk the ball up the court. That really helped in game 6 against the hawks. Just **** yell at these guys until they start doing it on their own

I said after the game 5 loss to the hawks that it wouldn't be our last meltdown. They wasted NO time proving me right. I've seen enough. I have little interest in even watching another game this series. I HATE this team, I legit cannot stand them. I almost hope they get bounced in embarrassing fashion so we hopefully can be done with this core. I hate cheering for them because I don't enjoy watching them about half the time. Even in the games they win.

I cheer for them because I cheer for any player wearing a celtics jersey regardless of how I feel about the player. They have the talent, that is all they have. They are stupid, soft, and uninspired. They never learn from their mistakes. Their talk is better than their actions. Joe is one of the worst coaches in the league. One of the few that will make doc look like a genius.

Even if we somehow make the finals, and I still think we might, I am so confident we are losing to whoever makes it there. Beyond confident. I was confident in that fact BEFORE this game. I would rather cheer for a pretender that plays hard and the right way and that is very fun to watch but doesn't have the talent to win it all, *2016-17 C's* than a pretender that has the talent but the team is filled with a bunch of brain dead low IQ choking losers. F*** this team.. And I mean that so sincerely. I'm scoreboard watching the next few games. I will give this team about half of my attention, just like they are giving a half-hearted effort on this "championship run".

I thought the worst offensive possession was Jaylen randomly not being aggresive up 4 with Harden in front of him and pulled it out to run clock and they did nothing. The reason they suck in the clutch is slow offense.

did it like 3 times in a row. joe must have said something bc brown doesnt know how to slow it down if he's on the break, a bucket, turnover or missed shot is all he knows UNLESS he is told to slow it down. we have been slowing it down to close games all season, that is a coaching decision.

Part of why JB didn't get the ball is bc the few times he got it he started turning it over. then tatum went fire flames, it's only one ball, it doesn't matter if jb has it going too, the best player is going to get the ball. brogdon was also producing, ONE BALL... he should have passed it more at times tho. this does feel like all the seasons where they would park him in a corner but this time it was a lot of factors.

Brown has to be better, go and get the ball, and try not to give it to the other team! his turnovers hurt a lot, could never get a start if you give it away with a defense that was already shaky.

thought he should have been on harden more, he bothered him. harden dusted him with a juke one time but other than that, Brown was in his jersey the few times they met.

i really do believe joe was over the defense last season, we keep doing the same things that gsw took advantage of.

The reason they lost lies in the last 4 guys in the list of 9 above. That's where the loss rests. They lost it before the last few minutes, but then during the last few minutes they couldn't hold onto the ball and they couldn't make enough shots (that a Championship worthy team should be able to execute).

You don't win in the NBA PLAYOFFS if only 5 guys play well. And only 5 Celtics played well tonight.

You Usually Need at least 6 guys to play well.

Hey Jammer take your stupid + and - stats and shove it! We all watched the game , our studs choked in the end and disappeared. Brogdan was garbage in the end. Smart was one of the few positives in the fourth fighting for every play!

You're clueless. Tatum and Brown and old man Horford and Gimpy Rob need more support from the REST OF THE TEAM. THEY DIDN"T GET IT TONIGHT. TATUM AND BROWN DID WAY MORE THAN SHOULD BE EXPECTED FROM THEM. AND SMART's play was not worthy of 35 minutes of court time. You may luv the kid, but he was not even backup worthy tonight. That's how ineffective he is. The only reason his plus minus doesn't blow is because he plays with Tatum and Brown. Put him with the lessor players and even his plus/minus will plummet.

Horford is 20 feet away from the Sixers guards when our guards get screened and then gets burned every play when he gets switched onto a defender. The Tobias Harris running around in circles against him was embarrassing.

Horford needs to have his minutes reduced. Gave up big offensive rebounds late too

We are the worst crunch time team I’ve ever seen. We could be up 20 with 4 minutes to go and I wouldn’t be confident.

I must say my favourite part about Mazulla’s ineptness this season has been his complete lack of care for defence. We’ve got the best 7 man defensive rotation in the game and all this dude can ever harp on about is shooting more 3s.

NEWSFLASH, it’s the playoffs and unless you’re the 2018 Warriors, you’re not going to score well every game. You wanna win titles you gotta lock down defensively.

This team has played 3 good defensive quarters in 7 playoff games and I'm including the 3rd quarter of this game. That's horrible. Not sure what Al is talking about. Neither is he.
