Well done, Ishbia. We wanted a splash but not a turd to go with it.

We get a new coach we'll be fine. If Ishbia really wants to fix it, he'll hire Presti though to make the most use out of our limited assests and to draft actual good players. Maybe Bob Myers.

I don't have any confidence in the front office at this point, even with Ishbia's wallet being pretty open. It guarantees absolutely nothing. And what drafts? We have NO picks other than maybe a few seconds over the next decade unless we somehow sucker some (or buy them) from other teams.

We are cooked.

Get a new coach. I personally like Atkinson or Charles Lee and if we're lucky Sam Presti. Then yes, Ish buys low 1sts and high 2nds. We just need to commit to the scouting process and get an actual NBA level coach to use them properly.

We're not that far off. Truly.

Serious question.

It's up there. I seem to remember a few failures. The Kurt Thomas situation, trading Marion for Shaq, bending to memes about our defense and firing D'Antoni, etc. Worst decision of all time was hiring McDonough however.

Because they totally had a teammate as good as Devin Booker in Brooklyn.

What a clown take, bro

Again - couldn't even win 1 game. They would need a Booker to do that? What happened to Mikal's supposed come up? LOL

Seriously I know those posters are and it’s funny they go missing during the games and only show up after wins. At least show some pride.

Jdiddy, saberaster, missing a few more hehe

Jdiddy is the worst of the bunch. He's a troll through and through.

Some people just see positivity in anything I don’t blame him. When I was younger I assumed Suns would rally back being down 3-0 or 3-1 in series. Now I joke around like we are going to storm back and win the series but most here know I’m joking. We truly lost our identity and even if we rallied back to win this game without Paul, I still had us losing in 6 games.

Nuggets had no significant injuries this season I remember when they struggled the last month it was more of “ we have best WC record let’s take it easy then people claiming the nuggets struggle is real not good going into playoffs struggling. I knew once Murray, Porter is back and addition of Brown, KCP would help them. KCP is a vet with a title huge upgrade for them.

It was also cool how the refs gave fricking Jock Landale like 3 or 4 foul calls in his favor in a minute and put the Nuggets in the penalty, then the refs gave us literally ZERO calls after that.

the trade never should have happened during the season.
NEVER.
is there a case in the history of the nba where a top tier claiber trade like this led to instant success?
look at this offense:
;ab_channel=azcsports
monty says: DON'T HOLD THE BALL.
with durant this is impossible.

lol we dont run this 0.5 offense for more than a year.

it is not about running an offense like this.
it is about the mentality to establish an offense.
if you have kd you have to run your offense differently.
you have to adapt, most of the times the suns look clueless on offense.
that's why i was refering to the argument that this should never have happened during the season.

We won the first two games in the Mavs series last year. Stranger things have happened than us somehow figuring it out and turning it around.

McD drafted and extended Booker so you can't say that. Best Sun ever.

None of it matters for KD either apparently. We got as far as we did last season with Bridges/Johnson. Actually we were closer to the semi finals with them than we are with KD who we gave up **** load of picks for.

Thanks for commenting btw I know you’re one of the big supporters of trade and spend lot of time bashing Bridges/Johnson. Looking forward to this discussion tonight, please respond.

KD's team is still playing in the 2nd round. Thanks for the riveting insight.

Since you've already declared the series over go start a whiny little b- thread and puke all over the team in there.

Um yeah no **** because KD’s lucky his team has Devin Booker in it. If Bridges/Johnson had Booker on their team, they’re still playing too and probably would be going to the finals.

And I know your stupid ass was the one claiming how squeaking past JV Clippers team in every game was nothing to worry, where’s your championship parade thread at? I want to go puke and take a sht in there.

Well, we barely have draft picks. You do mention Presti a lot. Is there talk of him leaving? I mean he has built up a boat load of assets, formed a great young team, picked a great coach. Why would he want to leave a situation like that for a team with his draft pick from 16 years ago, Chris Paul, Ayton, Book, and only like 4 picks in the next 8 years? I guess we have one other guy he drafted, Bazley.

Money mostly and a bigger spotlight then what he has in OKC. But the main reason I bring him up alot is Simmons.

Bill called Ishbia back in September(!!!) When no one even knew who he was. He's nailed a few other things and right after the sale went through, he mentioned Presti. So that's mostly the reason I bring him up, that and blind hope.

I admit it'll be hard to fire JJ and Monty in the same summer though.

This team is also just weird. Like... Game 1 we couldn't miss, but also couldn't grab a rebound or defend AT ALL. Game 2, we played about 44 minutes of solid D, but couldn't hit the broadside of a **** barn. Game 3 has to be a combination of passable defense and average shooting, I guess.

Can't wait to recall the time our Vegas odds moved after the KD trade. Such a bright spot in Phoenix Suns History.
