Man screw the Bucks, we should have won in 2021. That was our best chance and probably our best chance for at least the next 4-5 years with all the oldies we have on this team. Two freaking wins away.

Ishbia is part of the problem.

As bad as JJ has been it probably wasn't his choice to give up our future for an aging KD.

I dont necessarily disagree. Was just commenting on all the calls for Monty/JJ to be out.

Zeke has already made one trade

Seriously. You dont go to dinner without your GM and make a franchise changing trade. Shame on dimplick Jones for agreeing to a deal he felt/knew was bad. Nutless wonder bowed down. He needs to go. His GM career has been highlighted by what he didnt do.

But the fear is we have not seen the last of Thomas. Dude mediocrely coached for 5-6 yrs. Dont remember exactly what happened but he sabotaged the knicks and was sacked. Seems like i also recall some inappropriate tomfoolery

Lol.

You don't tell your boss no. What job where you're allowed to say "I'm not gonna what you tell me even though you sign my checks"

That's why I don't think JJ can be fired no matter what happens. I bring up Presti alot but I truly don't think he's coming here. This offseason at least.

Tavares Montgomery Williams tho.....

Even if we win a championship next year it won’t be organically like some teams win. We gutted half of our most important players for a superstar. In doing so we lost the most important aspect which is team fluidity and chemistry. You can’t teach that in a year even the Heatles couldn’t win the first year but at least made the finals. Not trying to compare our team to those Heat teams with Bosh, Lebron, Wade, Allen they were too stacked. I’m just so furious we could not at least keep CamJ he would have helped shooting the three. It’s going to be difficult watching game 3 knowing deep down we will lose this series in 5/6 games.

That was a disaster, not the L, but everything else.

Monty buried Shamet and Nuggets shot terribly, we had every chance to win this one but still fell way short

Trying to work out chemistry in the playoffs was always a risk, and unfortunately it's not working for us. We are getting 0 from the bench no matter what we try and to top it off, now CP3 is hurt.

I'm ready to stick a fork in this seasons suns, but I still believe in miracles.

Ishbia probably told Monty to sit Shamet out or else you’re fired after the postseason. Monty obliged and that was it.

I feel bad for the next coach coming in, given the expectations of the team, the age, the picks we have for the future, # of good young players, prospects, etc..

Expectations of the fanbase...no coach will be liked by the majority unless he wins it all...even if a coach coaches his team to the finals in their first playoff appearance, then coaches them to a franchise high 64 win season, he is hated by a large portion or maybe majority.

The coach, will, at a minimum, have to lose no more than 14 games per regular season and 3 playoff games per year or he will be a failure.

Monty's getting skewered for his rotations, but JJ should be shouldering most of the blame if you ask me. Regardless of your opinion on the KD trade, he failed the offseason and trade deadline yet again. Players 5 to 15 of this roster are 3rd stringers on a good team at best. None of them can be relied upon on a nightly basis. Our weaknesses have been clear every offseason and every trade deadline, and we sit on our hands while other teams get better.

Can we pull the GSW in this series (losing the first 2, 4-3 win)?
We got the offense but we cant execute absolutely NOTHING.

Maybe we finally revert to 0.5 with Payne starting since no Cp3 slowing down the play
Too bad this gives us the rebirth of Shamet minutes.

We're in a really tough spot.

Suns can still make this a series at home, but I have a hard time seeing us steal a win in Denver.

I mean backup PG has been a concern since 2021 and he sat on his hands and hoped an injured Cam Payne would be the answer for us. He couldn't even snag a 3rd string PG until he claimed Saban Lee off free agency but that was just out of sheer desperation due to all the regular season injuries.

Yeah, I mentioned a lot this past offseason about how worried I was about our depth, even without Jae out. It just felt too thin. Okogie ended up looking good for a short stretch and it appeared maybe we got a couple of other decent players at the deadline (outside of KD of course) but it's tough.

Of course our 5th player is Cam without the trade...and I'm uncertain if Jones really himself wanted to do that deal. But yes, regardless, our depth would still be an issue without that trade, just to a slightly lesser extent.
