Free interpretation lol.

It's really not all that complicated of a correlative man! Last year in the Mavs series we didn't close out the game and after the leydown loss in game 6 Booker basically said the same thing about being excited for his first ever game 7 and they he was looking forward to it.

He should the exact same lack of concern or urgency towards being down in the series and remind me again how his casual, non chalfant demeanor and general lack of concern worked out for our postseason aspirations in that series?? This team has a serious lack of fire. A lack of urgency to get the job done and to repeatedly underestimate and take their situation lightly and it's resulted in a pretty disappointing negative outcome. Winners close and don't downplay the seriousness of their situations in pursuit of championships.

But overall, it's a pretty simple correlation that he's downplayed the severity of the situation before. And here tonight he's doing it again. It doesn't get simpler than that to make that connection obviously.

With Saberestar here. Better keep the morale high by looking at the bright side. Putting blame around won't lead to anything good with all these super sensitive personalities nowadays.

Lol, it amazes me how people transform everything in his mind.

He isn't downplaying anything but you want to believe it. It's OK.

Any explanation about not using Warren or Rosh, the only two guys ( plus Lee) who can score?
Is there any behaviour issue or Monty is keeping them as new weapons against West finals against Warriors ?

I thought the same exact thing honestly. His postgame interview after game 6 came to mind for me immediately.

I’ll never forget it. Suns got their ass handed to them in game 6 and the two Suns leaders, CP3 and Booker were giggling like school girls in the postgame interview for that game. Not one ounce of anger or pissed off look or disappointment in either of their voices. Booker basically said in that interview that he wasn’t mad at all that they lost and have a speech on how they fought hard in the reg season to get home court advantage to have a home game 7. I’m pretty sure he literally said that his two favorite words are “game 7” and that he’s been dying to play in one.

If you didn’t know any better you could almost say he was admitting that the Suns tanked game 6 to purposely play a game 7.

Honestly it was obvious that him and CP3 and the Suns all thought that game 7 being a home game would just be an automatic win and that they wouldn’t need to actually come out and fight for the win. They expected a win just by showing up and well we all know what happened.

Now that Denver won 2 at home, I wonder if Booker and any of the Suns are expecting that they will be handed wins at home just like they did in game 7. Hope the mentality isn’t “Denver won 2 at home so well we should be able to easily win 2 at home too, let’s just show up and we’ll be owed it”.

I wish we got Jimmy Butler instead of CP3. He would’ve been an amazing mentor for Booker and would’ve drilled it into him how losing is not fun and that every embarrassing loss should piss you off to where you come and take revenge next game. Butler is the only player imo that has the MJ/Kobe personality in him where he actually takes sht personally. He just hasn’t had the MJ/Kobe type stacked rosters yet so no chip but hope he gets it at some point.

Monty asked them how they feel about dating his daughter and received unfavorable responses from both. Ross actually has a dime piece beautiful wife and Warren idk. But anyway yeah, any chance of them playing ended there.

I said this back in February when the trade was made, we had other options than make this crazy ass deal. Look at the fcking Lakers. They were utter garbage for all season long and made a trade without blowing up their team in February and now they’re well on their way to like semi finals or finals and another chip. They know how to construct an actual team in LA and know it’s not all about just big names, that’s why they have like a billion championships.

Again, that Dlo/Vando trade is what the Suns should have done. Dlo is immediate upgrade over Payne and Vando is a plug and play PF that would help Ayton as Vando is a top 5 defender in the NBA.

And we could’ve got all that for just 1 palty first rd pick. And likely got Rui for Crowder and 2nd too. Remember when bunch of idiots thought Rui was a bad trade for Lakers and they were glad Suns didn’t trade for him? Lmaoo.

Imagine a lineup of

CP3
Booker
Bridges
Vando
Ayton

With Dlo/Johnson/Rui/Biyombo all of the bench.

That’s an actual complete team. Enough shooting and defense in the starters and great bench scoring to supplement it. It would make us good in the present and better for the future. Not the cluster fck we have now.

Very well said , it’s hard to disagree with any of the points you made

I wish I wasn’t right man…I damn wish I wasn’t. Last time I felt so strongly against a trade that the Suns made was when they traded for Brandon Knight from the Bucks. But I hated this trade even more because there was no player of significance being traded away in the Knight deal, just a pick (lakers unprotected pick) but this had two fan favorites plus a gazillion unprotected picks.

Still hurts just looking at it, jesus christ. Must be super exciting time to be a Nets fan though…this is the basketball gods making it right with you guys after Billy King fcked y’all over in the Celtics trade.

Netflix should do fcking movie on that trade man. He goes to dinner with bunch of his idiot frat buddies and decides on an impulse that he knows more than James Jones and others and decides to force a trade simply because it’s KD.

And this isn’t speculation either, both Woj and Shams verified it so it’s 100% fcking true.

If any of you watch Succession, I feel like Ishbia is like Roman from the show. Similar to Roman, Ishbia hasn’t actually made a dime on his own and simply living off his daddy’s company and money.

Ayton played much better tonight than he did in game 1 but man this is still pretty crazy. One of these guys was drafted 1st overall and the other was 41st. One of them is the mobile and athletic super toned big C while the other is a big flabby fat boi.

The difference in rebounding numbers especially is so disappointing. That’s the one area Ayton needs to match or better Jokic yet Jokic is destroying him there.

Maybe Suns should put the players on the Luka/Jokic diet.

This is from just a little over a month ago.

2 of these guys haven’t played a minute in this series despite the bench being complete ass. Meanwhile sht players like Shamet got endless reign in both last series and game 1.

This was one of our best wins of the season and KD/Ayton didn’t even play. Yet we won. Why? The bench. Look who played off the bench and actually produced.

This match up two years was what earned DA the reputation as a playoff performer (and frankly what got him paid). He was magnificent in that series but has never come close to reaching those heights again. Now it's round 2 for these two and Jokic is establishing exactly why he's the best in the world while the other has gotten paid and somehow playing some of his worst basketball in the CP3 era

The KD trade was something that had to be done. We are a better team with him. No question.
I do not like the person and sometimes even do not like the athlete.
I disliked KD all his sport career.
Still he was a good option.
He being here and Mikel and Cam being in NJ is not the problem.

We have three problems:
- not enough time to accomodate a star and find the best options for him and the rest of the team to feed each others.
- Paul is old, as have been seen.
The bench is very weak.

So this is not the year. I have been telling you since two months ago. We need to improve our bench and address the PG situation.

The KD trade would never have happened if Moronty Williams hadn't gone solo and moved Crowder out of the starting lineup. The Suns would have had at least 7-8 more wins at the trade deadline and Ishbia would not have panicked. When there is a crappy coach, the damage is really huge. Moronty Williams is Jim Boyle. CP3 and his sauna buddy Moronty Williams destroyed the Suns legacy.

Monty Williams is a d**khead.

I don’t even care anymore about what happens. This coach will lead us to the fire.

I don’t think we can ever win a championship with Monty as coach. He’s just really dumb, but it’s not his fault.

Some people are just not that smart. He means well, it’s just his brain has limited capacity.

He’s the worst remaining coach in the playoffs.

Why do you guys keep talking about a trade. Future draft picks ain’t helping anyone win championships.

Bridges and Cam < Durant. Durant is a walking living legend. Stop.

The problem isn’t the trade, it’s MONTY WILLIAMS!!!

Return to Phoenix Suns
