These guys have a fight on their hands. Philly beasted through the first round and played very tough last night. I think Boston can come back but they have a real battle in front of them. This Philly team is defending well, playing very hard, and has guys that get their shots.

I'm not even going to state the obvious with what this team needs to improve on because it's clear and it's been beaten to death.

Here is the reality though: Only two teams have come back to win a series when they lose the first two games at home. If Boston goes down 0-2 they're done.

We’ll win the next game and both games in Philly. Be up 3-1. And lose at home to close it out with Embiid not playing. We’ll hear the same swan song from the players and coach. Philly wins game 6. And we go onto game 7.

Basically, it's switched around. Philly has Homecourt Advantage, now.
We still have to win 4 Games (at least 1 on their Court). They only have to Win 3.

They respond much better to backs being against the wall than gifted opportunities so I expect a blowout win. At this point though nothing will surprise me and my expectations don’t matter. Im just looking for effort and intensity all game. I’ll take our chances to pull out a W even if the execution isn’t great as long as the intensity is. We’ve had plenty of losses the other way around where offensive execution has been good with really high shooting percentages and lackluster effort though.

Al Horford should be doubtful with PTSD from Game 1. Poor guy got lit up all night on national TV.

Dating back to last season's playoffs, the Celtics are 2-6 in home playoff clutch games. They are 6-2 on the road.

Their last clutch game home playoff win was Game 2 vs. Brooklyn. They've lost 6 straight since then.

Is it game time yet? This year has been a rollercoaster ride. Generally I like roller coasters, but this one has made me feel a bit sick at times. I just need to know if the ride is almost over or if I should start enjoying roller coasters again.

So what you’re saying is, we need to make TD Garden look like Philly’s stadium for Game 2 and we win?

Is this place still a box of kleenex short of a goth kid on a Monday morning or is safe to stop by again?

Lets face it for whatever reason(s) there might be we simply never know what kind of Celtics team we're going to get. Never.

One thing seems abundantly clear to me though is that Rob is a better option on the floor than Al is. Use Al to rest him, but good things happen when he's out there. They can start there at least. That much should be easy to see. He's also feeling pretty good. That's easy to see also.

I commented on that last year and how they went to magic level with him out there when they were alley-ooping him to death. But he was active and the team seems to surge with him in. Some of the best most awesome basketball I've ever seen. He's not there right now but he's a sizeable percentage closer. I say Rob is the key.

Normally I would care about losing homecourt but with this team does it really even matter? Going down 0-2 matters though. Better find a way to win or the sixers are winning in 6, maybe even 5.
