That said I do hope to see a big game from Bam. He gets more than enough touches to call his own number and rarely does. Win or lose, I want him to just go out swinging for once for God's sake.

Another big reason we need Bam to play big is so that NY has to honor him as an offensive threat going forward. So far they haven't.

You just know that when Jimmy DOES come back to play, NY is going to double and triple him. Same as before, but even more aggressively. Someone else, a non-shooter, has to prove to be a consistent offensive threat.
