What a stupid and factually wrong take. He is statistically one of the best iso scorers in the league since 2015.

You have to wonder sometimes if people either don't watch basketball or just have zero concept of the sport despite spending thousands of hours watching it when you read things like this.

Well most reasonable posters aren't going to be attracted to a thread like this especially on later pages. It's mostly just going to be Warrior fans interacting with people that don't like the Warriors.

Since play type data exists on nba.com, his percentiles in iso scoring were:

78 (this year)
96
91
90
86
93
94

When you filter out players with like 15 iso possesions during entire season, those above 90 percentiles usualy translate to being anywhere from #1 to #5 in iso efficiency.

For real. For being "light years ahead" of everyone, they have been pretty meh at drafting for awhile.

Imagine if instead of Wiseman, they drafted Ball (Or Haliburton, Bane, Vassell) in 2020. And it's even worse in 2021. They had 2 picks and could have had two of Wagner, Sengun, Murphy, Mann, or Grimes instead of Kuminga/Moody.

Haliburton/Poole
Curry/DiVincenzo
Klay/Murphy III
Wiggins/Wagner
Green/Looney

That team would be so much better than the current Warriors. Glad they mucked up their drafts

Obviously better choices could have been made if you look in retrospect, after all. But I still like the picks (even Wiseman, who I still think will turn out an above average starter in time).

The problem is mainly Kerr, IMO.

He played Kuminga a lot after the All-Star break and he had very nice splits... check it out, 13/4/2 in 24 mins, 57% FG, 44% 3pt.

Then the playoffs start and he's buried to the bench.

He barely played Moody during the season, preferring Lamb/Jerome, then gives him minutes in the 4th quarter of a game 7... well, you understand the pattern.

Kerr simply hardly will play the rookies. You can have a good coaching staff, you can spend on good resources in their day to day activities... he simply won't budge.

If he plays them, it's basically to prove a point that they don't fit his "vision" (you may call it "system"...).

In the past I thought that this "dual timeline" argument could be workable under Kerr's system... nowadays I just think it would be best served if they traded all the future picks, and they won't play regularly and their development will not happen in normal circumstances.

They gambled with KD, and its a very worthy one.

And its impressive how they were able to replace Barnes and Bogut with Wiggins and Looney, after KD left.

I think they’re a top 3 team to win the championship. Curry is still amazing and is my favorite player, if I had to have one.

But the thing that would give them a clear edge is Jordan Poole and their bench, both of which were key in their championship run last season.

I hope he finds a coach and teammates that just lets him yell at refs like Kerr does. That's going to be hard to find.

They really don't learn. People were even counting out the Warriors before the playoffs even began because of that atrocious regular season.

As defending Champs warriors only team that can be potential dynasty. Young teams Sac, Clev and Mem flamed out and may never get a championship.

Giannis cast is old and they have few assets to retool
Other teams like Clippers can't overcome injuries.

Curry is still high level. Green still top defender. Thompson can still score.

Wiggins and Looney have just hit their prime.
Young guys still have time to develop

I remember just hating MJ during his first 3 peat. Second go around I got the hint that this beyond the personal sentiment of my teams standing and being a homer. At some point as a fan of the game you have to just appreciated what the big picture was. I was young then obviously.

This team Warriors team is not that. The Warriors vs LeBron is a hell of a story as well..

But 2 three peats? Come on man. But at some point you bookmark a bit of history and appreciate it for what it is, and that you got to watch it.

I am cheering this team on and enjoying what is in the discussions of great NBA basketball history and the only time in my life where this franchise did much. Too young for the stuff before Jordan.

Sorry to wasted to proof read, great game. I am out.
