McDaniels is not gonna give us that and PJ isn't even getting the shot until he's completely open.

Not a Sixers fan so don't watch all your games but Niang hasn't been good whenever I do

I know that Kork is a shameless chucker but he can also play make a bit and isn't small so should be worth a few minutes at least but Doc does play favourites so nothing will probably change

Biid slows down Sixers offense and defense. Sure he gives you rim protection but he’s not rebounding at 3 rebs, and you need a lot of rebs and forcing TOs if you are gonna shoot like this.

And since Sixers is a step slow, the rotations are slow, the rebounding effort is bad, the ball movement is slow and that is specifically a team that is what Celts’ designed to beat

Niang’s pick and pop game and corner 3s haven been money. On paper, Maxey and Niang can even run a good 2 man action where Maxey can use his speed and punish a defense switching.

Defensively, he is a neutral at worst. Team plays better defense when he’s on court because we have the right scheme to make it happen. The problem is he’s rebounding is bad and his deflections is bad, and tonight we need extra possessions

True. Feel like he did not need to play this game. But we were not going to walk away with 2-0. Home teams after being down 0-1 are 14-0 and now 15-0.

At least Embiid got some burns and it's shown he's ok. Doc needs to study the tape.

Yeah, can't overthink this one. Boston was focused and motivated. The only way we win this series is by winning games 3 and 4. No exceptions. Must win both of them.

Think about this. As long as we protect all our home games the rest of the way, we win the chip..

They are going to be so damn hard to beat. This is pretty much The Finals. If we don't beat them, I don't think anyone will.

Of course. They are the favourite to win it all.

I'm pretty calm about this. With the way they play offense, the losses are going to look bad when they shoot well, but they are still not overall better offensively than we are. We have a narrower band of offensive performance with a higher floor so I think we should win 3 more games in the series. However the ones we lose will be ugly and have fans and prognosticators predicting our demise.

We are fine.

Glad he's able to play, and there were no concerns this game. He will gradually get better through out the series, but based on this timeline, he'll only be fully healed mid ECF, if we make it.

Need to let Harden take the reigns in scoring then.

This is the 15th straight time the home team in a playoff series wins the second game at home after losing Game 1 to start the series.

What did we exposed to the Celts for this game that would make us vulnerable next game?

Thats the brightside of losing by 34pts

Sixers in 6 still stands for me. We'll make adjustments and win both at home. Celtics shot 51 threes lol

Celtics average 43 attempts per game which is by far the highest in the NBA

Game 1 with 26 attempts was a far bigger outlier for them than this one

Just watched it (well, 3 quarters anyway) on the DVR, and it was pretty much what I expected, especially with Embiid playing. I'd have preferred he sit until Friday, but if he's not going to be 100% at any point of the playoffs then using tonight to knock off some of the rust wasn't a bad idea.

Same boat. I havent watched the replay but only a few moments before the blow out.

Its one of those games where Biid played without any assertiveness while the team runs scheme where he has to be assertive and because he plays lethargic, everything fells apart for the entire unit.
