That’s how a lot of Heat fans generally regard him. Great defensive player and playmaker occasionally, but he has limited offensive skills, low motor, and no dog in him.

Bosh is a far more versatile player than Bam. And I think the defensive gap is overstated. Yes Bam is better defensively but Bosh was no slouch while being far better offensively. He would thrive even more now since he developed a respectable 3 point shot. Bam is not that great offensively. Put with with Prime Lebron and Wade and he would struggle to even hit 15 ppg.

I get anxiety every time Bam touches the ball on offense. He’s an unreal defender but I’ve never seen a less competent 20+ PPG scorer. Some of his misses and turnovers are middle school level bad

So basically just opinion based stuff based mainly on one being able to shoot 3s.

I was just curious as they’re both in the same role usage and shot attempts wise and both were each teams scapegoat any time something went wrong.

Lmao at 3ball, I swear this kid can not get me off his mind. Dude is so weird.

I vote for bosh but thing is, a lot of folks on this app are quick to follow any trend.. so if Bam was playing GREAT this year, they’d be following his jockstrap and stating that he’s better than bosh. Might have been better to hold off and ask this question when it’s all said n done.

I don't think Bam will ever be a first or second option on offense. Bosh and Bam both have their strengths and weaknesses, but Bosh is easily the better creator, scorer and shooter. While Bam is easily the better playmaker, rebounder and defender. My issue is I think Bosh is closer to being good/average at the things Bam excels at, while Bam frankly just can't do what Bosh does.

But these types of questions are subjective and really no right answer. It's how you'd build your team and what you'd want from the PF/C position.

Theyre not really comparable imo. Bam is a solid player hes already overachieved making the all star team twice in his young career. Coming out of kentucky I thought hed be a Kenneth faried type of player a hustle energy big that can grab boards and block shots or a poor mans dwight howard at best. Hes done well for himself. Bosh was a very good player in his prime not quite elite yet somehow made 11 all star appearances which by default puts him in the pantheon of all time great players in league history.

Eh one is a role player and the other is a prototypical player exemplifying the current era of space & pace basketball.

Read on Twitter

Bumping to say I love you Bosh but Bam is better, 3 conference finals in 4 years as an underdog. Dudes 2 way impact is just so high. He single handedly erased a 14 point deficit last night by taking over both ends of the ball in the 2nd quarter.

The poll being this far apart has got to be due to raptors fans, Heat fans (they hate Bam and hated Bosh too when he was the 3rd fiddle scapegoat) and just off name recognition I guess. You dig into it and they’re really not far apart at all. Bam is a better playoff performer too.

Love them both and thankful to have had both. They would be literal perfect fits next to each other
