This really highlights how far behind you are. Like, it's really obvious that you only think players are good if the media said so because anyone who was paying attention knew Curry was already that good back then. You probably think the Warriors didn't exist before 2015.
Try naming 5 players in each of those seasons who are "clearly" better than Curry. Good luck.
Okay so people are being pretty harsh with you which isn't great - you can avoid it by making less definitive statements when you join the conversation - but I wanted to come back to you with something objective.
You're clearly higher on volume scorers than other people, so let me use the stat TS Add which is a measure of volume with efficiency relative to the league.
Here are how the players you mention stack up by it:
1. KD
2. LeBron
3. Harden
4. Curry
7. Kobe
12. Paul
21. Blake
25. Melo
Now, obviously this alone doesn't capture everything, but if we're simply talking about a naive sense of adding value by volume/efficiency of scoring, Curry is clearly a guy who should be considered within the Top 5...and as mentioned, this is rather insane given how little help Mark Jackson's offensive scheme helped him. Blake & Melo for example had considerably more help, really didn't give you that much beyond their scoring, and still weren't up there with Curry.
And this is one of the measures to look at to see what folks like us could notice in '12-13, that the mainstream did not.
