Playoff form. Look at that hand eye coordination on the slap. We're getting Rockets Harden for sure.

Ingram is probably the ideal 3rd piece to bridge that gap. I wonder if Morey can turn Harden into him this summer. New Orleans is a difficult franchise to assess right now.

Ingram is often injured...and yet he plays more than NO franchise player. So no I doubt Ingram is going to be traded.

Agreed. Looney is a rebounding machine. If Paul Reed can grab the boards like him, we have a chance.

Grabbing boards not so much....hitting his free throws. Perfect. :D

On the other end they'll play drive and kick to hunt open 3's with their 5-out offense.

and I'd rather us have a chance of winning by them missing 3s than letting them shoot 90% from the field on wide open baskets at the rim like they did in the first quarter.

Nugs beating up on PHX so far is surprising.

Jokic, Curry, LeBron, Durant.

It wouldn't have been surprising to see any of the remaining West teams make it to the finals. Though at this point, since the Suns are now down 2-0 it would be surprising to see them make a comeback.

PHX doesn't have the chemistry or depth. It's too soon after the cupcake trade. Plus CP injured (again).

They'll be a real contender next year.

It’s going to be tough for them to recuperate some depth. By my count they have maybe 5 playoff rotation-worthy players. Plus, who knows what will happen with CP3 next year.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Watford/Barlow/Walker

I know we should worry about the series at hand, but:

Should we be concerned about Miami if they are able to win this one without Jimmy (along with the preexisting injury list)? Feels like a cohesive team that is able to overcome all the adversary.

Not concerned. But can’t play with our meat.

Its also true about what they say about teams dont usually go deep or win the championship in their first year as contenders. We kind of saw it last year.

You need data or info from the playoffs for you to adjust your team with what real NBA teams throwing non-vanilla things on you. Whether via roster or scheme.

Lakers playing obsolete basketball.
1 out of 8 from 3s?
13 less shots against the Warriors?

The best fit for Lebron is to play SF for the Cavs. Hehe

I dont have anything to confirm this. This is just a gut feel.

But I think there’s a power struggle on who should be alpha between Tatum and Brown. And their offensive style is not helping for sometimes one of them is not getting the spotlight that one wants.

Jaylen wants a bigger spotlight and a bigger share. He wants his max contract, and he can’t do it with Tatum and their style of offense.

Ask anyone.. Who’s better between the two? Why is Tatum getting all the spotlight when the answer is not clear? And if this continue, will Jaylen Brown be able to get his supermax eligibility?

The answer is crystal clear to me - if I'm building around one of the two, please give me Brown.

Yeah?

Brown is really good. I don't think he has the requisite passing or ball handling ability to be the guy though.

I also think part of the reason their scoring seems close is because teams key in more on trying to stop Tatum than they do Brown. I feel a lot better about leaving one of our guys on an island against him than I do Tatum.

The problem for the Sixers is that Harris can adequately guard Tatum, whereas no one can adequately guard Brown.

The Celtics problem is that Tatum is the better playmaker but Brown is the better big game player. Which makes both suboptimal as a go-to crunch time player.

Agree. It's the big game ability that makes me lean toward Brown, but you and @youngcrev make a good point about Brown's lack of playmaking. To be honest, neither is a classic #1 option, both are really good #2's.

I honestly think that the best candidate to guard him is the one who Doc wouldn't think about using on him and that is Springer. He has the size, strength and lateral quickness to make life more difficult for Brown. It would essentially be his baptism by fire moment but what other options do we have?
