What's Jerry Stackhouse's contract look like, he was a hot name before he went to Vandy.

I know one thing, this decision could either keep Giannis here for the rest of his career or force him out within a year. I would not want to be the one hiring a coach.

The 2nd thing I know is just hiring a new coach isn't enough. I hope they are still considering how to acquire young talent.

I've already sent in my resume. I can call time outs.

I’m not the biggest Nurse fan, but honestly his coaching personality meshes with Giannis’ work ethic/mindset.

I think they are going to hire Nurse and pick up FVV somehow.

Which coach can teach the roster how to throw an entry pass?

I want a guy that knows how to make it tough on Giannis. Bring someone in with a championship pedigree.

The u12s team I'm coaching has started the year 1-0.

I'm ready for the NBA.

I'm hoping they basically have someone lined up. Imo you don't fire a top 5-10 coach in the NBA who won a title 2 years ago for the abstract idea of hiring someone better, you only do that if you have a clear target in mind.

Also it's wild that 4 of the last 5 championship winning Head coaches have now been fired

Except "FVV somehow" is not in the cards, currently. That would take expert maneuvering, and trading/walking core pieces.

Let me dream!

However, you're right I would rather trade for Luka anyways.

There was a lot of smoke around Nurse to Houston, then they hired Udoka. He is the odds-on favorite as far as I'm concerned.

But we are an elite board and will do our due diligence.

I used to think of nurse as a top 3-5 coach and better than Bud before the last 3 seasons. Idk what happened but those raptor teams were underperforming bad. I think he’s the most logical pick if he wants the job, and I can get pretty excited for him. But I also wouldn’t be surprised if the bucks are purely mediocre under him.

Valid concerns with Nurse. Their success was a direct result of Masai making a cut-throat trade for a superstar. Then he left.

In the same breath, maybe FVV/OG/Siakam are all just good, not great players. What is the ceiling there? Maybe Nurse was dealt a hand that just wouldn't play.

Giannis/Khris/Jrue is far more malleable than that lot, although Khris's future is also in question. Giannis is Giannis, Nurse hasn't gotten to play with that kind of piece.

The only year Nurse had a superstar, he won a title. He's the guy.

The window is closing. We don't have time for a first-time head coach to cut his teeth.

I’m going to guess Quinn Snyder has a job somewhere. He tore the Kidd Bucks apart with their offense. Always felt like he was pretty good.

Homer in me wants Cassell but I actually don’t know if he is a good coach or I just love the guy.

Nurse would be underwhelming.
