I'm not against trading Mitchell but it would leave the Kings with 1 pg on the roster. Delly will retire and with Mitchell gone it leaves a big hole.
That 2 player hole needs to be filled with a similar salary amount ($6.8m) similar to what it would be next year and for the backup PG not to be a rookie. The 3rd string might be able to be a rookie though.

For a couple of reasons, I’m sure the Timberwolves will do everything in their power to keep Naz Reid. Because of the Gobert trade, Minnesota’s youth pool pretty much has been depleted for the next seven years. Keeping young homegrown talent (such as Naz) as well as Ant and McDaniels have to be a priority for the future of their team.
And many of us Timberwolves fans just plain love Naz Reid. In the history of the Wolves franchise have they taken an undrafted rookie (much less a second-round pick) and watch that player develop into a skilled key fixture for them. Losing Reid next year would be equivalent to losing Vanderbilt this past year. It would be really painful watching him play for a different franchise.

Replace Mitchell with SAC 2023 2nd ( in the 50s, low value) and the 2 DAL 2nds.
