This team Warriors team is not that. The Warriors vs LeBron is a hell of a story as well..

But 2 three peats? Come on man. But at some point you bookmark a bit of history and appreciate it for what it is, and that you got to watch it.

I am cheering this team on and enjoying what is in the discussions of great NBA basketball history and the only time in my life where this franchise did much. Too young for the stuff before Jordan.

Sorry to wasted to proof read, great game. I am out.

I've actually really liked this warriors run outside of the KD years (when they were unfairly overloaded) but the rest of the run has been really enjoyable. Draymond is not likeable but other than that I think its great how the franchise turned things around and mostly won rings with home grown players and great coaching.

Does that mean they've paused the other thread about how well Denver and LA match up in the next round?

lmao.

Since play type data exists on nba.com, his percentiles in iso scoring were:

78 (this year)
96
91
90
86
93
94

When you filter out players with like 15 iso possesions during entire season, those above 90 percentiles usualy translate to being anywhere from #1 to #5 in iso efficiency.

what does that mean? what constitutes as iso scoring? i cant find the definitions on nba.com's site

Such big words are so hard! In layman’s terms, a percentile means a number equal or greater than X amount of the reference population. 50th percentile would be average because you rank from 1st (worst) to 99th (best) percentile. So all of this is to say, Steph historically ranks, at worst, in the top 15% of ISO scorers in the NBA per NBA.com’s numbers.

why are you writing in a condescending tone? does it make you feel superior?

I know what percentile means. I'm asking what does 'iso scoring' mean? does it mean an unassisted basket? or does it mean something else? I can't find it on the site

Because in Dillon Brooks fashion, you kind of begged for it previous statements that were factually erroneous and irrational and responses to high school type math info that he shared he gets LOL etc... Probably more than that too. It is incredible this day in age when people are jerks and do not understand the push back. If you want honest engagement with people your going to have to make an effort as well. That simple. I see people on here talk so much nonesense and then wine when they get dis proven.

you're using statistics that you can't define and are calling me stupid. amazing how you can't see the irony in that.

my eye test shows me curry scores more off dribble handoffs and screens more than any other of the elite iso scorers who led their teams to championships. (pierce, KD, dwade, kawhi, Kobe, Jordan). there's a reason why teams whose best player is also their shortest player rarely win championships. theres a level of physically dominance that is needed in the postseason that Steph has been able to circumvent. you can chalk that up as his greatness, but you'd be ignoring a lot of fortune circumstances that has gone their way to make that happen.

I didn't call you stupid, I said your a jerk that cant handle response to your negatively without having a child like tantrum. Stupid would be the condensed cliff notes that seem to be what you would need to educate yourself. But have it your way. It works too.

read the beginning of my posts in this thread and see who started the negativity.

I've asked for the meaning of a statistic and I havent had a response and now you wanna play this he-said-she-said game.

y'all cant acknowledge the possibility that maybe your viewpoint is wrong and you resort to condescending bs. grow up

And there you go again... Your such a victim. Everyone is so mean to you because they have a different view point than you and back it with stats and effort.. Your projecting your issues onto others.

"cant acknowledge the possibility that maybe your viewpoint is wrong and you resort to condescending bs. grow up"

Your eye test trump all else. People engage with you and in response it goes deeper into the worm hole of your eye test trumps all else. If you take issue with NBA stats, that the other poster presented to you, Go do your own research and come up with a response that is not based on your feelings . So nah , engagement with you is futile as your just project victim hood when engaged with and say people condescend while you point at others. while you make no effort to prove or disprove the response you get. YOu want the other parties to put more effort into convincing you. That is low effort. And a waste of time. Got news for you, your not important enough for people to give you so much time. Go read this , go look stats, what a time sync. Do your own work, and engage in good faith instead of this nonesense.

And I do agree NBA would publish the variables involved with their numbers. But you are a random person on the internet asking others to do this work for you because of your eye tests. Get real. You go figure this formulas and post that, and it would be a real contribution other than "feelings".

Oh and I am sure I just hurt your feelings so your going to keep writing to me. But there is no reason to engage in this childish discourse if your just going to winge ...

For a dynasty that's over, it keeps hanging around.

Down 2-1 to Boston last year as well. Down 2-1 in 2015 before it even started. They seems to always lose game 3 on the road when they split at home.

If the Warriors lose game 4, along with losing tonight's game, then I think this becomes a real debate if the Warriors dynasty is finished. In theory, this series vs the Lakers should be very easy for them due having some of the best shooting in the NBA , while the Lakers have poor perimeter defense, can't match the Warriors 3pt shooting and I also believe Steve Kerr is a far better coach than Darvin Ham.

Don't know if a series against Lebron and a healthy AD can ever be considered very easy. Since the all star break the Lakers have been the best team in the league.
