Miami has played much better teams in the playoffs since 2020 and have held their own in all of them. These are the records against teams:

Boston: 7-6
Milwaukee: 8-6
Philadephia: 4-2
Indiana: 4-0
Atlanta: 4-1
Lakers: 2-4

Knicks would lose to all of these teams in a series except for probably Indiana.

But you are underestimating the power of referees. We just saw it in Game 2 of this series of how they can change the game.

Heat will overcome refs unless Scott Foster is in all the games. If they ref it fair, we all know Heat should sweep series. But this is the same Heat team that overcame a 45-17 free throw disparity against Milwaukee last round to closeout the series.

I hope the Heat have the same attitude you do, lol. Sadly, I know they don't

And the Heat aren't/weren't sweeping anything, take it to the bank.

Does it matter how much you think you know your team? Herro being out has meant Jimmy dominates the ball more and your other shooters get more opportunities. It is a fact that the combination of that has gotten them this far. Whether they keep shooting 40%+ remains to be seen, but we’d have no idea if Herro would’ve shot the same way or folded like he has in the past couple postseasons.

As for beating big teams, that again comes down to whether the Heat can continue to shoot 40%+ from 3. Can’t continue to give up second chances off offensive rebounds to the Knicks and expect to win the series. Knicks won’t always have bad shooting games like game 1.

Yes it does matter. Jimmy, Herro would mostly have the ball when he was healthy. Even assuming you're right about the shot, you can't deny that Herro's absence took a bad on Bam offence.

The regular season is over and this team is back from last season since the Chicago game and they are shooting great. We were one of the best shooting teams in the league last season and we found our rhythm. It's absurd to always attribute it to chance.

If you think you met the real Jimmy in game one, you're wrong. The real series for the Knicks will begin after that.

And the Heat got their first taste of Randle in Game 2 after not seeing him Game 1

Jimmy isn’t some mythical being that can’t be stopped and Miami’s shooting isn’t what it was during the Bucks series. There was a game they shot 60% from 3 and they were over 40%+ for most of it. It’s already coming back to Earth this series.

2nd game? You mean the game you won thanks to the referee even though that Butler wasn't playing?

Ah yes we know Randle. We know his soft ass well. Certainly not the kind of man we fear. It's funny to compare Butler and Randle. Clearly the best player in this series.

I want you to understand the difference between the regular season and the playoffs, but a fan who has made the playoffs twice in 10 years probably won't understand it.

You never met Randle in the playoffs so why say you know Randles ass well?

lmao *you sure have strong feelings towards a team who "only made playoffs twice in decade"

Miami needs Butler at least at 85% and then it really is just a matter of whether or not Miami can shoot the lights out. They shot the lights out against the Bucks, but Miami was one of the worst 3-point shooting teams in the league for the season.

Assuming Randle and Butler are both going to play out the series with reasonable output and there are no other major injuries, this is the Knicks' series to lose, imo. Only insane Miami shooting would alter the Knicks taking the series.

"Playoff Randle" oh my God how scary!! He was eliminated in the first round 2 seasons ago and this season he made it to the second round with a bad first round performance. That is all. There is no reason to fear it.

I don't need to be a Hawks fan for that. I just need to be a basketball spectator with a TV.

The Knicks smacked that ass in the 4th quarter and had y’all crying for Jimmy to save ya. Stop it

It’s so funny seeing Miami fans cry about the refs when they’re one of the teams that benefits the most from bad reffing. The moment it doesn’t go their way, it’s the refs are cheating

It took a +9 FT advantage, 7-34 3pt shooting and no Randle to beat the Knicks last Sunday. “BuT jImMy”

Miami’s shooting has already come back down to Earth these past 2 games. They’re not scoring anywhere near what they did the last series. And they’re having trouble stopping Brunson, Randle and RJ. Bam is shrinking in the playoffs as usual. I’m confident the Knicks are leaving with at least one in MSG South.

It doesn't help that the Knicks do the same drop coverage like MIL does and refuses to make MIA players beat them off the dribble.
