Because Boston does not send help that much.

Maxey is a mid to below mid scorer.

He doesn't have much shot creation. Not much change of gears, hesitation and counter dribble ability to throw his defender off. The celtics have a bunch of disciplined defenders to stay with him.

He's playing well defensively though active and using his quickness to help.

Just try not to give their best shooters wide open ones, they're not that deadly.

We're more likely to lose b/c/o dumb TOs, fouls, etc that are under our control. Cliche but we need to make better decisions than them and our talent should win out.
