Horford might have hit the biggest shot of the game though..Brogdon also hit one when things started to get a bit funny in Q4.

And ofc Grant was just a lion..as was Smart.

Put that L stamped on your MVP trophy big fella.

The loss isn't his fault.

It kinda is cos he cant go for all 4 qtrs

Eh, Embiid received basically no help from the other top Philly guys. Harden, Maxey, and Harris all crapped the bed in this game, so he had no offensive support. Add to that he's on a bum knee and he's basically playing his heart out, and it's gotta be demoralizing to see your teammates not stepping up with you. So yeah, this loss isn't on him.

If there's anyone to blame, it's Harden for yet another passive performance. He's a joke.

For real. One of the most impressive signs of toughness I've seen in a sports game.

he just went over to the bench, the trainer did some stuff to his face and he was back in 2 mins later like nothing happened.

Respect.

Absolutely! And he was a tough SOB against Embiid.

The loss isn't his fault.

We attacked him all night. Both sides of the ball. That would wear anyone down.

He's also not healthy.

It's not his fault. Come on.

Except for the occasional game, almost nobody can be as elite as Embiid's best (or Giannis' best, or Tatum's best) at both ends of the floor for long minutes.

OK let's fix that..

I thought Joe called a great challenge 2 minutes After a halftime just to stop Al from getting a 3rd foul on a rebound..

You happy now
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..

Mr_Mojo_Risin wrote:JT did not play poorly, he made some mistakes especially defensively and it wasn’t his most even game. However he started strong both halves and finished well.

I’m not sure what people expect from him sometimes. He’s generally our only player to get regularly double teamed and he almost always contributes well on both ends.

I mean, I guess I would say that for much (not all) of the game he played poorly. Poorly by his standards, at least.

He came thru late, but immediately before the big dagger he let Harden get a great look from 3, gave the Sixers some hope.

Didn't feel like his head was really in it for a lot of the game, seemed kinda pouty, finished with 4 TOs.

I'm partially just being a contrarian. Game 2 was the opposite, people were calling Tatum a fake superstar when he played a really strong game in some respects. Tonight he's leading the poll whereas I'm not sure he even played as well as he did in game 2. Playing well is more than hitting shots.

By the way,

Tatum and Horford are going to lead the Celtics to victory in Game 3. Book it!

I saw this coming a mile away. :D

1-10 against us in the playoffs. His team is 1-0 without him.

It’s not his fault but we have his number on historical levels here. Lol.

I said I wouldn't take this team seriously until they started to play defense. Well. The last 2 games are showing me they're to be taken seriously.

Not gonna argue with that, lol. Just win two more games against him, a lot of things can still happen in this series.

Soft by Tatum, Bird would have had 30 by now on a broken leg shooting only with his left.

My main takeaway from the playoffs so far is I love having two all-nba level two-way wings as my team's stars. I don't know how other fanbases live in such relative poverty. Those two play like they are and the c's defense keeps up the intensity and this team will go far.

The c's are now 5-2 overall vs Phili this year. Their only two losses were Hardens 45 in game 1, and Embiid's 52 in the last regular season game. It literally takes a historic performance from one of those guys for that team to beat the c's.

So who was checked out on the sidelines for injury?

Grant, Rob and Tatum, obviously.
Probably Marcus, but I don't recall any specifics.
Jaylen? Somebody said he was hit in the head late.
