If they win game 4, I could see them lose game 5 at home and winning the series in game 6 away.

Road court advantage when it comes to the Celtics

Still got another favorable game to win in game 4 :P

don't look now, but we've won 3 of our last 4 games. Our point differential over those 4 games is +50.

we've got home court for the rest of the playoffs.

Keep it rolling and we winning the ship.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

They won more road games than home games last year in the playoffs. 8 on the road, 6 at home.

This year 3 for 5 at home, 3 for 4 on the road.

I’m not sure what people expect from him sometimes. He’s generally our only player to get regularly double teamed and he almost always contributes well on both ends.

I mean, I guess I would say that for much (not all) of the game he played poorly. Poorly by his standards, at least.

He came thru late, but immediately before the big dagger he let Harden get a great look from 3, gave the Sixers some hope.

Didn't feel like his head was really in it for a lot of the game, seemed kinda pouty, finished with 4 TOs.

I'm partially just being a contrarian. Game 2 was the opposite, people were calling Tatum a fake superstar when he played a really strong game in some respects. Tonight he's leading the poll whereas I'm not sure he even played as well as he did in game 2. Playing well is more than hitting shots.

I don’t agree but that’s fine, we each see things differently and it’s what can make a forum good.

I personally think people expect JT to never make a mistake while two guys are draped off him going to the rim against Embiid.

If he has the ball too much everyone complains we have other weapons and we should use them. If he passes it off or isn’t involved in most of the offensive plays everyone complains he’s being too passive.

I’m not saying you say this but I just don’t think people understand just how special he is. I also think he has another level if he could bottle the intensity he showed against KD or at the end of Game 6 against Hawks but even without that he’s special.

In the scheme of things for a 25yo, the guy just delivers and delivers and delivers.

Ime was 1-2 against Bucks and Heat last year after 3 games. They also had injured star players ( Middleton, Lowry)
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Joe made great adjustments
Not playing Rob and Al together was huge as it didn't work against Philly and allowed one Center to always be on court and fresh

Putting Grant/Smart on Embiid was huge. They bothered him a lot

Players have pride now in their defense (JB, Smart, Grant, Al). Just keep the intensity and anger for the whole playoff

I guess Tatum and Joe agree that Tatum sucked on defense.

The morning after the game 1 loss, I said the quoted post below. Jaylen has obviously done a really, really awesome job, but he defended Harden the second most possessions in game 1 as well. He’s obviously stepped up the effort on that end, but Harden’s game 1 was super flukey lol.

Feed Your Head wrote:As much as I was annoyed, I’m also realizing it was kind of flukey. Harden hasn’t scored 40 points in over two years, I believe.

He went 13-22 against “tight” coverage, and 7-12 from deep.

Props to him for going off, but it was definitely a bit of a fluke lol.

Gotta love Big Al stepping up and knocking down 5 threes after that pre-game interview where someone laughed that he's an elite shooter. I freaking love Angry Al.

JD is so basic in his Panda’s. I expected more from you Mr. Davidson… especially after Grant wore them for what seemed like 3 months in a row last season.
