Top 5 is good rating? hmmmm..Yet when someone has him outside the top 2 you act like they are crazy haha. Pick an angle man.

for an undersized guard with overrated athleticism, bad defense, poor shooting and crap finishing that's definitely a good rating.

Yeah keep deflecting haha

Anyways, I doubt he will go below 3 in the draft because front offices will be too pressured to take him.

not deflecting anything, I'm just shocked you have him 5th despite your criticisms of his size, scoring ability, finishing, defense and while thinking he's an overstated athlete.

This may shock you, but you can think he isn't the same level of athlete as Ja Morant and still think he is above average athlete.

If someone tried to tell me Taylor Hendricks was Jayson Tatum I am allowed to disagree and still have him as a top 10 prospect too.

Okay, no point really in going back and forth. I will just say there are different type of freak athletes, Scoot is one and on a different level than Suggs and Fultz.

The fact that you have to bring up the most athletic Point guards in history should tell you something. You couldn't just go down the NBA rosters and pick out point guards because he is more athletic than them.

I think Jaden Ivey is both faster and a better vertical athlete when compared to Scoot.

Dennis Smith Jr and Kevin Porter Jr are both above average athletes, but still below all-time great. That is probably where I see Scoot athleticism at alone. I still expect him to be better prospects than those guys but point blank I think Scoot athletic profile is overrated by most.
I feel like slightly better Dennis Smith Jr. is a good comp for Scoot. Same strengths and weaknesses, just a bit taller and longer armed. Scoot has the wing-span to be a better defender but is nothing special on that end. I can see how a person could have him 5th on your board. Personally I have him behind Wemby, Amen and Jarace at 4. I have him in a third tier with Whitmore and Hendricks

Baron was amazing, great combination of speed, dribbling ability, and power. The few years he had in Charlotte before the team got relocated were some of my favorites.

Scoot is quick and powerful like Baron was, I can definitely see the comparison.

More like Steve Francis type athleticism in terms of his in-game movements. But those are great comps.

In before someone craps on The Franchise. The man's peak was legit great.

Let's attach a legendary photo that would bring back memories:

Let me state once again, Miller may be a better prospect, but someone like Scoot is practically bust proof in the current era. Atheletic point guards, with vision, handles and productive stats have very very low bust rates. If he doesn't hit Ja Morant levels, he is at least a 12 year starter.

Scoot's stats were comparable this season in the g-league to JD Davison. Davison is very athletic, showed good vision, good handles (admittedly Scoot's got a little bit tighter handle than JD while also being a little younger). JD is 1" taller..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Chauncey Billups type of game? Billups was a waaaaay better defender and shooter than Scoot.

I don't see that comp at all.

Baron Davis, De'Aaron Fox, maybe. Billups - nah.

Better decision maker too. Scoot just racks up Westbrook esque dominate the balls and get lots of drive and kick assists.

no and no.

but maybe if you guys keep repeating that Scoot's a bad defender enough you might be able to convince someone.

Billups was both a great defender and shooter. Scoot hasn’t proven he’s even average at either to this point, so what exactly is this based on?

I don't see Billups at all, he was a big crafty guard that could stroke it from deep.

I still think John Wall is the best comp.

He definitely isn't a good 3pt shooter nor crafty, I remember Billups posting guys up on the regular also he needed a screen a lot because he wasn't explosive off the dribble.

Feel like you just threw out some random names what part of Hendersons game is close to Billups?

Scoot isn’t crafty. He’s like current from Westbrook. He can get you a lot of numbers, but it’s not pretty.
