Or they go down 3-1 and do a reversal of what the Cavs did to them.

Down 2-1 to Boston last year as well. Down 2-1 in 2015 before it even started. They seems to always lose game 3 on the road when they split at home.

What?? Seems to always lose game 3?? Warriors have 14-3 record in a Game 3 in their last 17 Game 3's in Playoffs Series. It's actually rare they lose Game 3, they win 83% of the time before tonight against the Lakers. Do you even have any basketball knowledge at all after the MJ era besides looking at the box score and preseason odds from time to time? Most of your post in this board are false. You even use Shaq, Ben Wallace, Rashard Lewis, Deron Willliams and other washed players as "All-stars" who played with LeBron like you didn't even watch the games at all when they played with him, most of those washed players was out of the league in a year or two.

I don't think the Warriors can pull this one off I fear.

In theory, this series vs the Lakers should be very easy for them due having some of the best shooting in the NBA , while the Lakers have poor perimeter defense, can't match the Warriors 3pt shooting and I also believe Steve Kerr is a far better coach than Darvin Ham.

I'm far from a Laker fan, but even I have to give credit to the Lakers defense. It isn't just AD. Vanderbilt and Schroeder are solid defenders too.

Obviously, game 4 is key. Whoever wins that game is likely to win the series. It is hard to know what will happen because these 2 teams have been Dr Jeckyll/Mr Hyde in the past 2 games

Can you read? I said when they split at home what happens after the 1st two games and gave you a few examples.

Yup, the overreacting after every game is at an all-time high. Last game it was "over" for the Lakers, now it is "over" for the Warriors.

This will be a 7 game series imo. Warriors will make adjustments and even it up game 4 imo. LeBron looks gased after he gives a lot of effort and Davis plays great every other game.

It's been exhausting. Everyone counting out the Lakers after game 2 and I'm just rolling my eyes. Like wow, have you guys ever seen the playoffs before? They just took home court. Now the Warriors can take it back, Game 4 is the pivotal game of the series. Warriors need this one, but it's certainly (again) far from over.

KIll or be killed type playoffs so far. Big variance in games as is the 3ball impact.

Series is far from over when there’s a random nuke in Klay and of course Curry.

Lakers it’s mostly just if the offence gets going they are going to be hard to beat against anyone left imo.

This is what I feared from this series. Knee jerk reactions and whatnot... people cannot seem to help themselves. I still don't feel 100% confident with it being 2-1. I've seen WAYYYY too many playoff series to be cocky over that garbage. It's the same crowd who act like this series is a defining legacy series for Steph or LeBron. I disagree

Nah. They might beat them, but it won't be easy. I won't count out the warriors until they are actually eliminated

I 100% agree. The Warriors just came back from 0-2 vs. the Kings and down 1-2 vs. the Celtics in the Finals so it's clearly not over.

LeBron is clearly not 100% and is 38 years old that already has a very solid GOAT argument (3 guys I give that to - Jordan, LBJ, Bill) but we're out here litigating legacies. If the Lakers win it will probably not be because of LeBron as a #1 (that will be Davis) and if he loses, he has the legacy already and is in the "Old Kareem" stage of his career.

Steph has 4 chips as well, and just secured a dominant Finals MVP against the #1 defense with the DPOY guarding him. It's a good series but legacies aren't on the line.

Nice to have an actual conversation, thank you.

Warriors absolutely could win game 4 and this thread will swing back the other way. Warriors haven't lost a western conference series since before Steve kerr got there. I won't count them out until they are dead

If Lakers go up 3-1 and then warriors proceed to finish 4-3 this thread will be the best thread in realgm history after tayshaun blossoming.

So what have the other team's in the conference done.

If GS didn't miss Wiggins for 55 gms and had GP2 doe entire season they could have been 2 or 3 seed.

They beat Mem DEN and Bos last year. They beat Sac this year.

Mil lost in 1st rd. Phil has Harden as FA.
