Philly did what they had to do this half. They're playing like the team that needs the win more.

That said, I didn't love the last 2-3 minutes there. Giving up the offensive rebound after Brown's 2 FT misses, Maxey's too-quick pull-up three with a bunch of time left on the shot-clock, etc.

Horrible offense by the Celtics. That shot selection has to be among the worst of all the playoff teams left. they got lucky some of their 3 point chucks went in at the end of the half so it s still reasonably close

Horford's 3 to close out the half hurts. Philly can't rest on their laurels, they gotta play the same way they did for the first 22 minutes of this game for the rest of the series to have a chance in terms of effort. Still too many 3s Philly didn't close out on, they're just not falling tonight for Boston like they were in games 2 and 3.

Seriously, I was just going to post the same thing. The modern NBA can be pretty ridiculous. It’s the playoffs and you have a 33% 3 point shooter pulling a 3 on a fast break.

It’s crazy how much Tatum and Brown are inclined to settle for 3 pointers as well. When you’re Steph or Klay, it’s one thing. But these guys, 1. Aren’t that caliber of shooter and 2. Have superior physical attributes to work with and can continually put pressure on the defense if they so choose. They’re 6’7-6’9, athletic as all hell, but elect to play a finesse style of basketball — letting defenses off the hook. 2 FT attempts between them in the first half.
