Mazzula cleaned up our T/Os this year which was our biggest weakness and is leading a far better offense than Ime could. Yes he is learning some execution on the fly but he wasn't expecting to be the coach until like a week before pre-season. It happens. Having said that.

Mazzula didn't fail to secure a rebound TWICE up 3. Mazzula didn't help off a 5-8 three point shooter down 2. This was on the team. Joe should have called the timeout late but this L goes to the whole team.

Why is everyone so surprised that they ran out of time before getting a shot off? It's not like it didn't happen 10 or so times during the regular season. Call the timeout, get Malcolm and Bob in for a two big set and drive to the hoop, w/ 10 seconds left, and get fouled, draw the D and lob to a big or kick it out for an uncontested jumper. We were down by 16 in the third and Philly could barely miss. Awesome D in the 4th, especially by Horford, to get us in in that position.

Not sure why JT played it to the last fraction of a second. Tough loss.

lol Ime did this all last year and because we hit a few shots to win games he looks great, but Joe gets cooked. Imagine game 1 vs the Nets if Tatum didn't hit that spinning layup. Ime would have gotten cooked for not taking a time out.

This has been the game plan for years. They let the team run the offense at the end.
