20% of Celtics possessions started off transition in Game 4 (series high). 51% of those off LIVE REBS (99th percentile)

A big reason for ~ 45% of its 3PAs deemed OPEN & WIDE OPEN

Biid has to play extra minutes because of him.

A lot of your posts are spot on this one is way off. If Doc had played Reed more all season Reed would be a much better player today, IMHO. Doc jerked that guy around all season long. Jerked him around knowing that the team needed a backup center because, you want to be able to rest Embiid as much as you can in games. Doc knew this but still messed around with Reeds playing time, thus development, thus a tired Embiid.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

Unfortunately, Harden saved Glenn's job with this win IMO. MVP Harden has to show up twice more in the next three games for the Sixers to have any hope of advancing.

We have a better team than last year so I feel a little better about us winning this series now before it started. We really need another guy besides Jojo and Harden to step up though

This is the conference finals imo and if we beat the Celtics we will go to the finals with ease barring injury

Glenn's job is in jeopardy if we lose this series. 4-0 or 4-3 makes no difference.

We'll certainly be favorites, but the Bucks were already supposed to beat the Heat easily. That didn't work out so well.

I understand what you're saying, but I had us beating the Bucks

The only team I was worried about in the east was Boston

IMO Glenn would have to want to go elsewhere now.

MAYBE if they get blown out in games 5 and 6? Maybe.

I said the same thing last night, completely agree. Had they blown that lead and lost in five, there's a good chance that Glenn is gone, but now that ship probably sailed regardless of what happens.

Not saying he'd definitely get fired, but if I were him and the Sixers lost this series, I'd be worried whether it was a sweep or 7 games.

Positives:
- They’re already hitting us with their best shot. There’s literally no one who’s struggling on their team now.
- We’re getting used to defending them, eventually this dribble drive offense becomes predictable. Our offense is more predictable but its harder to stop
- In the first half, we showed we can be better than them if we just played sharp with energy and aggressiveness

Negatives:
- Biid and Harden might be tired for next game

Wow, I see it much differently than you. The Celtics played like garbage for three quarters and we let them back in a game that by all rights should have been a blowout, or at least a solid double digit win. Rivers had to bring Embiid back 2-3 minutes earlier than usual because the bench was hemorrhaging points. We've needed two off the charts Harden performances to win games that could have gone either way.

I don't think the Celtics are a great team, especially given how deep their roster is on paper. They live and die with 3-pointers, and without guys like White and Brogdon would be a decidedly mediocre team, - but they are deep and can get huge contributions from a number of players.

The Sixers are unimaginatively coached and rely 100% on Embiid and/or Harden going off to win, which is an incredibly difficult way to win a playoff series. If I'm Mazzulla, I sell out to limit Harden and Embiid and make sure it is anyone else beating me. We'll see what happens, but it would be a major red flag on this Celtics team if they can't win this series with two home games.

Quite frankly, if you sell out to stop Harden and Embiid and leave Maxey wide open for spot up 3s, the Celtics might not win another game. The Sixers literally just have to break even on the Paul Reed minutes and they got this. Problem is, Williams is killing Reed on the glass.

I feel like the Sixers didn't think they could beat the Celtics going into this series
. You could see it after the game 1 win. Everyone but Harden acted like they just won the NBA title. Yesterday was huge for this team showing that they can play with Boston. Hopefully, that will translate into the "other guys" picking their game up.

If we have players that feel like we couldn't beat the celtics. Hopefully their loser a** are on their way off this team.

I think they only had doubts without Embiid.

Never a doubt in my mind that we would win this game.

Not really. He wasnt fully set and in guarding position and slid over.

But asking refs to overturn what is essentially a judgement call doesn't usually end well.

SMH how are you pissed over a WIN? It doesn’t matter how you fkn win in the playoffs aslong as you win! It’s better to go watch the tape and get better from it after a win than doing the same **** after a loss! You people need to get over yourselves

I'ma just put this out there for all to see (your own words from the Nets series):

I have a right to be pissed over yesterday because it shouldn't have been that close, especially in front of the home crowd. Our team still has some miles to go before I feel comfortable saying that they have a mental edge in this series. Ofc, we'll see how games 5 & 6 pan out. Also, who are you to tell me how to feel, Dad? This isn't the first time you've attempted lambasting this community over a freaking basketball game.

Trust me I’m not telling you how to feel imm just thought it sounded better than telling you you act like a bitch
