Love and Bam is not a small frontcourt. Buuuuuut I was WRONG AF about everything. Transformed into a team I don't recognize right now. I'm in absolute shock and humbled.

We added Zeller and Love and Love’s size at the 4 has been crucial to this run. We also got bigger at the two with Strus once Herro went down. Small ball got us the 8th seed but Zeller and Love’s size has helped us greatly with this run in the playoffs.

C'mon mate, you still doubting it? Small line up w/ Bam at the 5 that not only starts games, plays majority of the game but also same line up in the end or when it counts. It's still the same as past seasons. Small ball line up had us in the ECF twice last 3 seasons and a finals appearance. Had Bam & Goran not been injured we may have won in the bubble. Had Butler made the 3 that's 2 NBA finals in 3 seasons. We're doing this in spite of small ball line up.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Small ball is still enacted but we have more well rounded size to compliment it. Was the bubble really small ball with Crowder and KO in the front court?

Believe it or not but Bam/Love is actually a bigger lineup than Horford/Williams from last year

This is a better team than last year offensively in the playoffs. Ignore the stats and records. Miami is an 8th seed but they are 7-2 in the playoffs and 1 game from the ECF. Love is huge at the 4 in rebounding, passing, and scoring that PJ couldn't do and a healthy Lowry off the bench is huge. IDK what will happen if we make the Finals and Herro can play again (will he start again?), but if Herro comes off the bench with Lowry, that's scary production from the bench.

The story of this series is bench production. We are just completely destroying their 2nd lineup with our own. It's not even close.

That’s why i mentioned if Herro comes off the bench in the finals with Lowry we could be winning this all. Final piece

Bam is still undersized in that 5 spot regardless of Love. We have 2 players w/ the height of fowards.

Almost double on the next player in less games?! Just tied Wade for the 2nd most double doubles in Miami Heat playoff history?!?!

Pretty big accomplishments next to some elite players from someone a sector of the fan base claims is a playoff choker. Appreciate him while you can, he’s still young and has a lot of time left here!

Height sure but both pushing 250 pounds and very hard to box out and move down low. Massive difference over the 6’5 205 pound Martin when you can throw that jumbo look.

That would definitely help Butler get some rest for that ankle..... Crossing fingers that MIA can end it in 5!

As much as we bitch, we're not the Lakers but we've gotten to see Zo, Wade, Shaq, LeBron, Bosh, Bam, and Jimmy in Heat uniforms. We've had some quality stars.

Can't agree with you more..... Really helps with Love's rebounding and timely 3's. As mentioned here, If Herro returns and is placed with the 2nd unit along with Lowry, can really see this team winning it. This team is just different.

Spo and Miami have never put value on being small. They’ve placed a lot of value on all 5 players being mobile and multi-faceted. Getting bigger players that can do that will always be better.

The construct of this team is not at all a departure from what Spo has always prioritized
