Re: Around The League 2022-2023 season
Of the 8 teams remaining I can only find myself rooting for Denver
Boston has too much legacy and recent success to root for even if their stars are mostly likeable.
I ardently dislike how the media promotes New York as an organization that needs to win because it's so famous
Los Angeles has too much legacy success and I despise the whole narrative factor with LeBron James, despite liking Anthony Davis
Golden State have won way too much recently and again I hate the narrative factor with Curry, despite liking his playstyle
Phoenix has Durant who is the ultimate mercenary on how to get titles, which I find unlikeable.
Miami is a team that prides itself on hard work despite many stars willing to come via FA, also they are city rivals
Philadelphia has a duo of floppers and their best player injures players with his reckless flopping.
To be honest you could remove AG from Denver and I would still root for them over the field.

The Greatest of All Time debate in basketball is essentially who has the greatest basketball resume of the player who has the best highlights instead of who is the best player

AG had a very weak game despite a couple of late baskets. Run of the mill role player.

Re: Around The League 2022-2023 season
Jokic and Murray run a nifty handoff play I’d like to see Paolo and Franz incorporate. It’s almost like a reverse PnR the way they run it, where Jokic has the ball on the elbow, Murray runs off him tight for a handoff and sometimes gets it sometimes doesn’t, but if he didn’t Murray curled into the lane where Jokic hit him for a nice close range shot.
I think Paolo and Franz have the size and passing to do that. Fultz, Cole and Suggs can all probably finish well off a play like that too.

In two out of 4 games, Harden was best player in Celtics-76ers series.
I need to see Lakers go down, and after that happends i don't care who wins, hell , i'll probably root for Miami. Butler deserves ring given how much he elevates that team by himself. They lost Oladipo, Herro, they have no business being so deep in playoffs, guy is injuried, guy has rolled ankle, guy rolled his ankle again, and averages 34 -6,5-4,5 on Godlike 65% TS being as banged up. Apsolute respect.

Should Devin Booker be full time PG in future?

You kinda want booker be a scoring machine. Putting him into the PG role where he has to dostribute is not the best way to utilize him.

Yea, guy really elevated his game to crazy levels on offense and his scoring is so prolific that you probably don't want him glued to ball, but he also improved so much as playmaker. Tough. Baby Harden.

The modern Lead Guard…just what we need. I’m more and more looking at Denver’s inside out play. Paolo isn’t Jokic but also has a lot of other strengths. We have such size in our forwards who are both showing great potential for half court ball movement…our PG “model” imo, is Jamal Murray, or the Booker you described. I’m leaning towards Simons as worth a real look at that role. It’s the same vision I have for Poole, but I get the reluctance from others (I’d still try it at the right price). You can have secondary on-ball guys to give the Lead a break, but that doesn’t even have to be a starter.

Living in Philly and seeing Harden show up for Games 1 and 4 without many FTA has me all in on rooting for the Sixers, especially because I've always disliked Boston since the 2009 and 2010 playoffs. Embiid winning the MVP and playing through injury is also a contributing factor. Yes his flopping can be excessive at times, but he's still an incredibly impressive player both with his midrange and his defensive ability. Plus, they're the underdogs in this series and I love me an underdog.

Denver is the only option to root for left.

Looks like a Denver fan "updated" the wiki page for Mat Ishbia.
wiki link" Mat Ishbia
wiki link" Mat Ishbia
During Game 4 of the Suns' playoff series against the Denver Nuggets, Ishbia was involved in an altercation with Nuggets player Nikola Jokić. During the game, Suns player Josh Okogie crashed into the seats while trying to save a loose ball. He landed in a group of fans on the baseline that included Ishbia, who grabbed the basketball. Jokić tried to take the ball back from Ishbia, with Ishbia refusing to hand it over. It resulted in the ball flying backward into the crowd as Ishbia put his hand on Jokić's side. Jokić light touched Ishbia, resulting in an Ishbia flop on the play. Jokić was then assessed a technical foul.[16]

nothing really wrong there. Ishbia did put his hand on Jokic's back and he did flop backwards trying to get something called on Jokic. yes, Jokic did more than a "light touch" but not a whole lot more.

Re: Around The League 2022-2023 season
This Knicks/Heat series is so boring. Neither team really feel like they should be in the 2nd round to me.
Randle really mailed it in tonight. His effort in the 4th while the game was within reach was pathetic.
