That would definitely help Butler get some rest for that ankle..... Crossing fingers that MIA can end it in 5!

This hasn’t been mentioned much but we need this BAD. Jimmy is really hurting and we have Bam with hip, hamstring, and now shoulder issues. Imagine a week off, that would be amazing while everyone just watches film and gets up jumpers over the break

I think Miami continues to prove fans in here wrong. Again if fans were in charge they'd run this organization to the ground.

We added Zeller and Love and Love’s size at the 4 has been crucial to this run. We also got bigger at the two with Strus once Herro went down. Small ball got us the 8th seed but Zeller and Love’s size has helped us greatly with this run in the playoffs.

Spo and Miami have never put value on being small. They’ve placed a lot of value on all 5 players being mobile and multi-faceted. Getting bigger players that can do that will always be better.

The construct of this team is not at all a departure from what Spo has always prioritized

Very well said!

from knicks forum:

I skipped the 4th quarter.

but I want to talk about some thing moving forward that need to change:

1/ I take back my apology to Mitchell Robinson, and re-instate all of my insults and aggrievances. Bear was right all along and Mitch is just fool's gold because of his highlight reel, and he is a net-negative player.

Hate the quick turnaround for game 5. Let’s shoot the lights out of MSG

merely awesome rather than staggeringly awesome?

I think his defense was key to the win. Also he facilitated well even if the shooting was a little less efficient.

Punch them in the mouth and go up double digits in the 1st and they’ll fold. We need to go all out and secure this rest. Think it would be 4-5 days off at minimum

He may have pressed a little less due to his nagging injuries. But the Knicks were throwing multiple bodies at him on every possession

We've won this battle and the team as a whole is operating very well. We protected home court.
Now, we will try to steal one over there, a tougher challenge, but if we play efficient and continue to hone our game we should net a good result and solid metrics.

We've outscored their bench 116-62. It's not even close.

I love this team man. I don’t know how they turned the most miserable Heat season in recent memory into this but they’ve somehow done it.

Finish it in 5

Dru Smith very lucky he got that 500k this year. He should invest and manage a subway after all this-MettaWorldPanda

Our starting five right now has gotten collectively much wider and beefier

C Bam 6’9 250
PF Love 6’8 250 replaced 6’5 205 Martin (45 pound upgrade and 3 inches height)
SF Butler 6’7 230
SG Strus 6’5 220 replaced Herro 6’5 195 (25 pound upgrade)
PG Gabe Vincent 6’3 200

It's just funny how cocky and disrespectful some of the Knicks fans were to start this series.

And i thought Celtics fans were the worst lol

Offensively and rebounding yes. Love just can’t switch like PJ but this team looks like it needed Love’s skillset and size a bit more.

Not an upgrade per se. They are very different players.
