I've always liked Lonnie. Spurs were impatient.

The Lakers where not a great team. Also again the free throw discrepancy in this series is absurd. If the Lakers are gonna get the whistle everytime it’s gonna be hard to beat them.

Silver must be grinning ear to ear right now. His boy Lebron's inching closer to making history. Oh, the narratives that will be created if the Lakers do win it all.

- Lebron's 5th title, which would tie him with Kobe, and going for 6th to match Jordan.
- Getting the Lakers their 18th banner, which would carve him a spot in Lakers lore.
- Making Lebron a part of the greatest Cinderella run ever, from a play-in team that was once 13th in their conference to champions.

The Nuggets won't have enough firepower, and the Suns, while they have KD and Book, are just gonna be "out-freethrowed" by at least 20 attempts per game. Celtics got a good shot, but we gotta get there first. Lakers winning is what's best for business, and Silver knows that.

I got laker insurance - i put some money on them at 31:1 to win the title earlier in the season. Gonna suck real bad, but the cash would help

those were terrible shots, they got much better ones surrounding those shots. then they had two timeouts, curry tossed the ball out of bounds instead of immediately calling timeout.

Excuses excuses, giving grace to 4-time champs but not to people who never won a chip. :nonono:

Curry had a great look that he makes often. Klay's shot was at the end of the clock after a great defensive possession by the Lakers. Of course they get grace for winning titles. They're proven, we're not. And we're not facing the best 4th quarter team and the top Playoff defense either.

if you don't give grace to people who haven't done anything but give it to people who have mastered it then that's wild. they should know better than anyone.

The klay shot was not the long heave it was after that. curry has hit that shot but he also had been driving for layups by attacking them instead of settling, lakers didn't even have to work.

I guess you're going to ignore tossing the ball out when no one dove toward him nor touched him and they had timeouts?

they made more mistakes the entire 4th too. bumbling fumbling mess.

refs aint ish but gsw looked like deer in headlights at times.

Glad we have Smart and not Curry for late game situations. Smart keeps his feet and calmly hits shots, he just needs JT to deliver earlier. Curry shoots 30 ft wild iso shots, falls over, panics and throws the ball out of bounds.

Smart is so clutch. :D

i still think gsw's main problem is not having anyone to tire ad. sure he defends on the perimeter but you need a shooting big and some create for themselves, high-level dunkers, and scorers.

who creates for themselves on GSW? Curry? That's about it. Dray creates for others, he's a trash scorer. not klay. Wiggins? mediocre.

what I'm saying is Cs got it! I know we're struggling but trouble don't last always!

Celtics vs lakers finals would be an all time classic. If only that series would be fair. The underdog story for an all time great like lebron, would be too much. Silver would be over the moon thinking about that. I do hope thr lakers lose in the cf. denver won’t have a chance. The suns have a better chance. The lakers getting banner 18, and lebron his 5th ring??? That would be the worst. A disaster of epic proportions. My most hated franchise and player. At least the bubble counts as a half ring lol. This one is legit.
Anyways, beat the sixers the next two please.

Warriors went from running their mouths, playing hard, aggressive and clutch against us in the finals only to shrink into scared bottlejobs infront of the almighty King James.

GSW just too small for the Lakers.

The Cs lost in the finals because the Celtics didn't have a big man like AD.

In today's NBA, size matters.
