Pretty straightforward question, but not an easy one to answer I think. Just curious what y'all thought process is on the matter. No Kobe because he'd be an obvious no.1 I think, and also no D-Wade, Melo or Harden because none of them are traditional wings.

I think I'm going to vote.. T-Mac  ; I'm not going by championships or all-star selections or even PPG averages, but rather the eye test and which player looked more dominant while attacking the rim. Guys like T-Mac, Vince and Pierce had to get to the basket in an era when bigs could just clog the lane. But that's just my thought process.

Kawhi.

Then I'd say Butler.

Still don't get why Wade and Harden are omitted.

Cause they're not traditional wings, so they handle the ball and initiate the offense way more often than the guys in the poll.

I mean Butler and Kawhi initiate offense a lot too.

Probably more than a good amount of people on your list.

If we're going by actual success you'd obviously have to pick someone else, but if I'm theoretically picking someone to play on my team, I'm going with McGrady 11 times out of 10.

Level of play, at peak

(Kobe Bryant)
(Dwyane Wade)
Kawhi Leonard
Tracy McGrady
Jimmy Butler (predicting from this year)

Vince Carter
Jayson Tatum
Paul Pierce
Paul George

Ray Allen

Jaylen Brown

Peak Kawhi was not only better than all of the other players on this poll, he was better than peak Kobe. If Kawhi had Kobe's durability he would be a top-10 all-time player.

Seems like asking who is the best swingman (...with Ray Allen in there).

Kawhi Leonard is the best player there by a long shot. I think he might be a top 20 peak all time type of guy.

He might even be better than Bryant, certainly has cleaner looking scoring numbers. Better defender than Kobe too.

Agree on all 3, and I'd just add that when healthy I expect I'd take Kawhi over everyone mentioned here. I knock Kawhi HARD for his missed time though.
