Warriors lost that game because they went cold from 3 when it mattered most. Warriors were 1-6 from deep in the final 6 minutes of the game. Lakers were 0-3 from deep but they were also 3-4 from 2 and 7-8 from the FT line. Warriors were 2-4 from 2 and 2-2 from the FT line.

Steph and Klay, best shooters in history, we’re taking some really bad 3’s to try to close out that game.

Those shots at the end were some really terrible shots. They are just so used to taking them and making them they only realize how bad those shots are when they don't go in.

They were all such tightly contested shots. And the last 2-3 minutes was Curry in iso mode trying to get enough step back separation from AD.

Russell was just so-bad for the Lakers. He should be happy that Reaves, Schröder and Walker bailed out his miserable game.

What DLo does is just inconsistent. Sometimes he could be on fire but sometimes he is 1 for 9.

If I were the Lakers, I will just let him walk and do whatever it takes to resign Austin Reaves!

Yeah I'm like: "What the hell, are the Warriors actually gonna get eliminated by Lonnie friggin Walker of all people?"

I'm so annoyed the Heat and Lakers seem to have found all the shooting/injury luck in the world at the moment and are overachieving. Those rosters are not that good. But I was also annoyed at the trade deadline why other teams where helping the Lakers go from no chance in hell to "this roster makes sense and might have a chance". Screw the Jazz and Wolves, seriously.

And Jazz going from " look, we have identical record like Lakers, but let's just give up players to help Lakres for no reason so we can have 4,5% chance at drafting Wemby. Makes sense! "

in order to get Lakers pick that is 5 yeras from draft ( 2027) , that is top 4 protected , they gave up Conley, NAW, Beasley and Vanderbilt.

That trade makes apsolutley no sense whatsoever.
And after they "opened up space" (as cute excuse ) for doing so, they gave that PT to.... 31 years old Olynyk, 29 years old Dunn, yungling Damien Jones who is just 28 and italian rookie stud Simone Fontecchio who is ... drumroll... 28 yeras old.

So one team is pretty much throwing away season to help direct competitior because of some draft pick from franchise that never rebuilds, that won't convert until summer of 2027 ( or would convert in second round 2027 pick if Lakers draft 1-4 in 2027). And for other team, despite fact they are knees deep in luxury tax, it's still allowed to make such a massive trades and literally buy their way into contending (again...and again, and again).

Where now we will have, for lack of financial muscles that Lakers have, grooming of Giannis to Lakers that will start in about month or so. ( or Doncic... or both).

There is old qoute from soccer "Football is a sport which the English invented, you play 11 against 11 and Germany always win,"

NBA is game where 30 teams play but Lakers always find ways to buy championships.

If the Lakers win that series I might become the biggest Denver fan in the world for a few weeks. Maybe I’ll buy a Jokic jersey.

Ever since T-Mac left have always loved watching Lebron play. I love the warriors but really can't stand their fans. They make me hate the warriors.

Lakers winning with size and defense. It would be hilarious if it ends up a Miami/LA finals.

For as good as Lebron was I can’t stand him, the lakers fan base, or the media narrative that follows him everywhere. Guy needs 2-3 allstars, or previous allstars, to reaffirm he’s the best. I live in LA and most of their fans are casuals. Clippers fans are tolerable except they have the worst run boomer embarrassment of an organization.

I liked the Warriors up until Durant, but now they have the most expensive roster in history due to the one year the cap went up and paying crazy luxury tax because they can in Silicon Valley. Curry’s face has become more punchable over the years. I dislike Draymond as much as Lebron (really all Klutch clowns) and how outspoken he is as a guy that would be nothing playing on any other team where he wasn’t a glorified moving screen setter and defender. Yeah, their fans are somehow more insufferable than the entitled Lakers fans.

Really wished both teams would lose the series.

I don’t really care who wins the east. I like Jimmy Butler I guess and I don’t hate the Celtics roster as a whole. Denver is the only team worth rooting for after the MVP nonsense and the fact he doesn’t care about media attention.

I know it's blasphemous around here to root for the Heat but I'm rooting for Jimmy. I just love the toughness and mindset he brings. It's ALL business with him.

Not at all. They are a well run organization considering they are built up of Jimmy/Lowry and a bunch of guys they took risks on. It’s hard to hate Jimmy Butler. He is that guy.

I honestly don't know why I'm not a Heat fan!

Great organisation and Jimmy is a legend.

Yep…MIA is always relevant and always in the mix for available stars, regardless of cap space, picks, etc. Riley is just always there and always ready to do what it takes to contend. He takes big swings, sometimes misses, fixes it fast, and takes another swing?

Someone please slap me hard.
Ever since I saw the same commercial twenty times in one night talking about "chicken nuggies" I have not been able to stop calling Denver the Denver Nuggies.

I don't know why but I've always disliked Miami.
But I'm disliking them much less these days.

Partly because Shaq and Wade are finally gone.
Partly because Miami can make a turd shine like a diamond.
And partly because of El Jimmy.

If BOS loses this series, what do we have to offer to get Jaylen Brown?
