Nothing against Steph but it should never be a debate this story

Lebron never joined a 73 win team after losing to them

It's still so ironic that this laker team is LeBrons most complete team and no one calls it a super team.

Lebron stacked the deck. Curry had a franchise capable of stacking the deck for him

RealGM takes are worse than Stephen A & Skip’s. Lebron > Steph and it’s not even close.

This year is the first year we can said that LBJ has a better supporting cast that Curry in their playoffs matchup
Between 2015 to 2018,the supporting cast of Curry was much better and his margin of error was much bigger....I mean, LBJ lost a game by scoring 51 points and 2 games later, the warriors won a game with Curry scoring just 11 points on 3-16 from the field....LBJ was the better player in his matchup

Agreed. IMO Lebron out performed Curry every time. Curry has a ton of mental blunders in big moments, which I think contributes to his horrible clutch stats, meanwhile Lebron is a master in the clutch. One Last Shot wrote:Steph's team will be 0-2 against a healthy LeBron team in a Playoffs Series while 3-0 when the Warriors got the overwhelming advantage against them like injuries to 2 of their top 3 players and recruiting KD in their 73-win core

Lebron is better than Steph and this was never really a debate but this series is not the reason to determine this, Lebron clearly has a better team.

If Lebron was in his prime this would be a historically good team likely better than Lebrons heat teams and maybe almost 96 bulls/17 warriors level but Lebron is not in his prime and AD is too inconsistent so that's why it's not perceived as a super team. The lakers have a lot of really good players but they don't have a current top 5 player.

Ok, im going to concede Miami even though i thought outside the big 3, they sucked.
When else was it "stacked" ?

Yeah they're good now, but were in danger of falling out of the playoffs at midseason. Then they added some nice players around the edges at ASB, the kind Lebron can work with. It's not liked they traded for Kevin Durant or something like that.

This is why it’s important to be fair when you talk about these guys. Some of the posts about this topic of lebron vs steph in wins/losses look like they were written by single digit iq brains rn.

Imagine Klay Thompson as your 2nd best scorer and considering that team stacked. People are complaining about Jamal Murray as a 2nd option yet he's been offensively better than Klay in the playoffs. Yea Steph's teams are stacked. When Steph has a legit 2nd option like KD no one stood a chance. When Lebron has a legit 2nd option like Wade, Kyrie, and AD everyone else still beat him.

Wade was not in his prime for 13 or 14. Bosh missed whole series. Kyrie got hurt one year and only lost when GS bought in KD.
LeBron and AD only lost to injuries.
So, were you pretty much lying on purpose or nah?

Re: This is OBVIOUSLY Steph's era- not Lebron's.
I guess it's kind of like the old Bird vs Magic days, except those were even more closely tied together by the Celtics vs Lakers rivalry (and boosted by Bird's and Magic's NCAA matchup). But it was neither player's owned "era", it was just an amazing rivalry.
This has kind of been Curry vs LeBron, except that the team aspect has been more "GSW vs whatever team LeBron has forced himself onto", so it hasn't been as compelling. Imagine if LeBron had stuck with Cleveland his whole career and rode out the tough years with the good? We may have had a memorable Cavs vs Warriors decade or more.

'Cos it's easier to try
Than to prove it can't be done
Than to prove it can't be done

Calling a four-time scoring champion in the middle of his prime a second option seems pretty reductive.
