The word 'elite defender' is getting used way too much when it comes to draft prospects. OG Anunoby had >4.0 stocks per 40 in the big 10, that's elite. I'm seeing it used for guys with 2-3 stocks per 40...that's decent, not elite.

Going to be interesting which way Ainge and Presti go. They are 2 of the better drafters in front of us. Will they take a long term prospect in Bilal? Don't see why not, especially for Ainge since they don't have any wing prospects. I don't think he will join combine since he will still be in season

Cam Whitemore reminds me of Miles Bridges. I would not trade OG for another Miles Bridges.

#1 wouldn't trade Wemby. I'd only trade OG for Scoot or Brandon Miller. So if a team didn't get the player they wanted and willing to trade #3, Id' think about it.

100% yes. Closest thing to Jimmy Butler in this draft. Gotta trade up to get him, probably going top 5

I think getting an MB like player at a different salary, and younger is worth alot. I also think Cam might reach other big/strong guard ceilings like Jimmy or dare I say it...VC.

Masai & Bobby dumpster diving? Tolzman has lost his way it seems.

The raptors are going to be attractive destination for undrafted guards. I prefer addressing guard depth via 2nd round or undrafted FA signings.

It takes two seconds to search that German is repped by Klutch. This is a favour. The Raptors have to work with Klutch a lot this summer re Gary S&T, Fred S&T (or just S) and OG's extension. Also, I agree going UDFA or FA is a better route than reaching for a guard in this draft.

Politics! It's in possible to avoid for regular office folk. I can only imagine the amount of scheming and double crossing that happens on the business side of pro-sports.

I really like Wallace and Bufkin POA defense, a skill the raptors lack. George has the skills to develop into a all-star lead guard but its huge transformation with a steep learning curve. Sasser, Miles Jr, and Hodge might not achieve the same succes as the guys i mentioned but can be obtained on the cheap.

I'd trade Wemby. If OKC offfered you Jalen Williams and all their non OKC 1st round picks and swaps they have coming up... I would take that over Wemby.

For the people who have been hyping up Bilal Coulibably, I salute your efforts. I just did a deep dive on him, and what a find. I would like to join the hype train.

As one of the younger prospects in the draft, who probably isn't ready for the NBA yet, Coulibably is a boom / bust type pick. It can be very hard to figure out where to rank guys like this. Given that this seems to be a weaker draft class (in my opinion at least), I'm comfortable taking an upside swing towards the end of the lottery.

Things I like about him
- Great length, moves like a guard, will probably develop into a guy who can thrive at the 2 or the 3.
- Based on the eye test, has the "it" factor. If he continues to improve over the next few years, there is star potential here.
- Huge upside on defense
- Advanced stats are actually pretty good, and is a decent shooter already

I understand that Coulibably is very young, would need a lot more development over the next few years, and in the worst case scenario he could end up being a wasted pick. I do think he has good odds of at least turning into a quality 3 and D wing. If he puts it all together, he has the fundamentals and athletic ability to become a star. That's good enough for me.
