It's pretty rare for an MVP level player to have two first team all-defense players playing alongside him. I have always been a Giannis fan and respect him for winning it with the team that drafted him but I'm a bit less of a fan after this.
Couldn't have said it better. Great post.

Not even sure what he’s talking about. I never see Giannis hate at all besides the ladder incident . Yeah you lost as one of the title favorites and probably got a bit of heat for it, but yeah that’s gonna happen big dog. They fired your coach for it, not you. Chill with the fake outrage. Bro is trying to hit his LeBron 2011 villain arc as a superhero. This isn’t how it works my man

Yeah, i guess he wants to do something/anything to motivate himself. Will never be a villain, just too nice of a guy. He can't be a LeBron or KD on that end, historically those two are very much unlikeable.

This. Dude is obviously tired of the rim disrespecting him.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

A page from lecringe's book. At least he didn't bail on his team.

I think he's referring to missing out on both all defense teams.

Agreed but even if that happens, I don’t think the rest of the roster is good enough to get out of the East. They need to pull off an Ainge level coup.

This comes off as toothless after just getting eliminated. Everyone will just roll their eyes.

Oh he's angry now? He's going to do something about it now? Yeah, okay, whatever.

I have Jokic as the best player in the league at the moment. 2x MVP and should have won a third this season. Giannis and his front office need to slightly revamp the team and gain more quality talent. While they currently have a solid team, they need a new coach now, and all championship teams need to make adjustments have two years of winning. We'll see what they do this off-season.
