You can't be a finesse team in the playoffs. You have to play with force and be willing to get dirty and do the little things in order to win. These Celtics have shown no inclination to do those things.

Prime example is Tatum. IMO, he has the ability to get in the post and be very effective from there but he rarely gets down there.And I think that's more his play preference than it is coaching,although Joe should demand it from him.

Just watch him operate: there are times he gets past his man and immediately dribbles back looking for a perimeter shot or when he does venture into the paint,passes up a 4 ft shot to pass it back out.
Can't happen. He's got to assert himself. He's got to lead and set an example and so far, I don't think he has that in him.

Team needs a true leader/Alpha on the floor. Horford's too old to be that and Smart and Brown are too inconsistent to set that example. I know I sound like an old curmudgeon but Larry Bird once called his team out in the playoffs,telling everyone "We played like a bunch of women tonight" and "Sometimes we don't have the heart we need".

I don't know if there's any core player on this team that has the testicular fortitude to do that.

These guys are a soft lot. Especially without Ime.

This team, like many, is too reliant of threes.

If you have 2 of the greatest shooters ever, like Steph Curry and Klay Thonpaon, you can be reliant on threes.

This team doesn't have a Sreph or Klay and needs to take it to the bucket more.

With the exception of Draymond Green, the Warriors are a finesse team that has won a lot since 2014-2015. However, teams without a Steph and Klay are unlikely to win it all trying to replicate what GSW has done.

Hopefully Tatum starts off Game 6 being aggressive or they get Jaylen, who has aggressive throughput this series, more involved in the offense early on.

Can't be playing from behind and hoping Al, Smart, DWhite and Brogdon get hot.

Sixers were hot and we weren't. This is what happens when you lose games you should have won. We gave them life with our mistakes and blunders. 7-9 at home in 16 playoff games!! How is that even possible?
