LeBron: 23/9/5 on 54% TS and 113 Orating
Curry: 25/6/8 on 55% TS and 111 Orating
And LeBron has played much better defense. One of the worst playoff series for LeBron in recent memory is still arguably the second best player in this series, after AD. And that's with a foot injury that's nowhere close to recovered.
Just imagine if this was 16-18 LeBron. He was the best offensive player of all time in those seasons imo, literally unstoppable.

Steph was carried by Durant for two seasons.
Steph cannot actually beat LeBron when their teams are even.
He could barely handle LeBron in 2015 when Love and Kyrie were injured.
He definitely could not handle LeBron in 2016.
He cannot handle LeBron in 2023.
Steph needs major advantages in order to beat LeBron. He needs LeBron's teammates to be injured or he needs to be with another MVP.

Lol. People that don't play care waaaay more about Finals MVP than the players.
'Lebron didn't have Kevin Love or Kyrie Irving in 2015'.
Few seconds later...
"Curry needs major advantages". Lol.
Kyrie/Love/Bron vs Steph = Fair
Steph/KD vs Kyrie and Lebron = COMPLETELY unfair.
Completely unhinged.

Peak Klay was> Peak Irving
Peak Darymand> Peak Love
Iguodala> Tristan Thompson
So other than Lebron and Steph , GSW roster was > Cavs roster.
GSw fans are underrating Duran, and overrating Kevin Love&Irving to save Curry. Durant is one the top 3 scorers in last 20 years. Any owner would give Irving+Love for Durant.
Irving is not a super star, Love is not a super star. Look at Irving at Boston, Nets, and MAvs who can say he is a superstar? After Lebron left noboby wanted Love' max contract in a trade. Oh owners who max average stars do not want Love at max. How in the world a superstar is not wanted wanted by any team?
Did you watch Love and Irving's matches when Lebron was injured ? Cavs were not able to win against weak teams in the weak east.
Who says superstar to Irving and Love do not know anything about basketball.

Won rings with different sets of roles players whom he all made look better. Basically everyone 'fit in'.
Wiggins, who Lebron had traded away to get Kevin Love, FLOURISHED alongside a guy that beat Lebron 3x in the finals in Curry.
Literally gas made EVERY TEAMMATE better by merely just his presence on the floor. From superstars like KD, to players like McGee/Nick Young/Draymond/Zaza Pachulia, to players to Poole & Gary Payton Jr. Unlike Bron, he really makes teammates better and fundamental pieces to the team regardless of the level they're at.
And most of all - NO EXCUSES. This team had major injuries earlier in the season and mid season, but weathered the storm. Him, nor his teammates, aren't in ENDLESS trade rumors during those losing slumps unlike every team Lebron is on. Truly fosters a positive work environment.
The Steph Era. Happy to be a part of it.
you dont have to do this. you dont think steph is a better player, and he objectively doesnt have the accomplishments. Why not just be happy for the great performance?
I don't understand. What am I 'doing'??
Curry's journey to winning has been one of the most impressive I've seen. Truly a story of resilience.
Chronic Ankle pain stemming from a crap ton of Injuries
Curry proving that he's a better long term fit than Mont Ellis.
Growing with Klay and Draymond.
Surviving the embarrassment from 2016 to overcoming injuries to teammates.
All with ONE franchise who believed in him and vice versa.
His 4 rings look and feel different than Lebron's.

Tell me you don't have any clue or have an agenda without telling me so.
Wiggins was traded AS A ROOKIE because LeBron aimed at a championship run in 2014/15 instantly and not 8 years later when Wiggins finally found out how to be an effective basketball player on a winning team.

Doesn't matter. Steph took Bron's throwaway and made him into a champion.
The following guys coincidently 'found out how to be effective players' alongside Curry
-Nick Young
- Zaza
-Barnes
-Mccaw
-Barbosa
-Speights
- Mcgee
-Looney
-Wiggins
Seems like there's a constant here...seems like players are suddenly winners around Curry and nowhere else. Haha.

Lol. So Klay Thompson was better than Kyrie Irving.
Got it. No point in contending with that.
Lol @ Draymond being better than Kevin Love
VERY surprised you didn't throw in Harrison Barnes> Kyrie. I've seen your ilk do that too.
And I've seen Bron stans use the following interchangeably to label players when it suits their desired purpose:
- Hall of Famers
- All star appearances
- 'Superstars' (this is when I know you're desperate)
What's with all the qualifiers like 'peak' and etc. Wanna give yourself some space to walk back some posts or nah?

What's unhinged is thinking that is at all a meaningful comparison of their rosters. You thought it made sense to include Kevin Love but didn't think it made sense to include the DPOY who lead the Warriors I'm assists for a majority of their title runs?

It's crazy, how the depth of a team can be underrated... First, in the finals in 2016, Love had a concussion and he missed the crucial game 3 and he was not the same after...
Even though he was healthy, Green was a much better player at this time unless you completely ignore the importance of defense.
Also Klay is one of the best shooter of all-time and Iggy was still a great role player in 2016 which is very important
Kyrie was great in game 5 and hit a big shot in game 7 but outside of that he was not that good in this finals.....it's about LBJ who did everything and had a legendary finals and Curry had an awful finals with similar assist to turnovers and he had a much bigger room from error since despite LBJ dominating Curry in that finals like crazy, it was still a very close finals
Some think a lineup stop at 2...The current Lakers team is an example of how much depth in a team is crucial and the Warriors had way more depth than the Cavs in 2016.The warriors won 4 playoffs game without Curry in 2016.The cavs won 4 regular season game between 2015 to 2017 without LBJ!

The bad thing is that they're literally insane and come in droves. Lol @ a Bron stan bumping this thread a year later.
Usually I'd play, but the Klay>>Kyrie in 2016 comment tells me that the stans are FULLY loaded and I haven't had my caffeine yet.
Here's the white flag fellas.
