I think Joe has to be fired if we lose this series. He may one day become s good nba coach but he f’d up our season

In my opinion the 2022-2023 Boston Celtics is a team too full of themselves. They act like they are 4 time champions. I’ve never sensed the hunger with this team, more like entitlement. Look at Philly last night, that was a hungry team. That team looked like they were willing to run through a brick wall to get the victory. The Celtics, not so much.
Never understood this Celtics team so who knows? Maybe they will win the next two games easily. We’ll see. Would love for the Celtics to show some fight the next few games. Let’s see some effort.
Someone wake Rob Williams up from hibernation before Game 6.

It's hard to know what it is but it really does come across that they think they are so good that they can pick and choose when to bring the right intensity. In some ways it's felt these playoffs as if they believed they would get back to the finals and they needed to manage their physical load to ensure peak at finals time so they wouldn't run out of puff like last year.

They acted like it was a forgone conclusion they would be in the Finals and stopped working. Entitled.
Sad part is they are the most talented team

Thank you Brad, for not addressing the resounding or interior defense at the deadline.
I took a lot of flack for bitching about that but here we are.

Tough to overcome. Especially with Rob Williams still in hibernation. Once RW3 got that boo boo on his forearm he was done for the series

Highly, Highly unlikely but I guess you never know in today's league. Victor is too good of a talent/prospect for any team to give that up. Perhaps a pick in the 1-8 range may be traded but I don't know; Q is, what will you guys do with Tatum if the C's trade JB?

Depends on if Houston has a quick rebuild plan like the Cavs did when LeBron returned.
Brown won't be traded unless he demanded it anyway.

The sixers are not the better team.
If this team does it's **** job they literally clean sweep them.
Better teams win a 7 game series. No one should be surprised at how this is turning with how the regular season went.
People didn't think much of it but those losses against the magic, thunder, rockets and losing a 28 point lead against Brooklyn told a ton about this team. You've watched this team play you cant seriously be shocked at what you're seeing?
I just don't subscribe to that.
Boston should still win this series. They won't shoot they bad again, right?
That said, they literally blew two games in the final minute of two of these games. If that makes the sixers better than that's your opinion. I think it says way more about us.
Corey's you're a fan and you've watched all the games same as me. Both of us have seen and I'm sure complained about this team's flaws, which is questionable effort, questionable coaching and their lack of execution, and to me their biggest flaw is just not coming out with urgency or taking games off because they think they're better or their poor shooting from one game to the next. All this team's flaws are front and center in the playoffs.
People keep saying Philadelphia is the worst team and I'm going to say why?
Yes I absolutely do subscribe to the team that plays better in the clutch is a better team. If the tables were turned and Boston was executing down the stretch and winning games and Philadelphia wasn't you would absolutely say Boston was the better team.
They have a better coach, their defense is better, Embiid is the best player on the floor and I believe Harden is the second best player and on top of that they have several guys that can hit shots. Lastly add in Boston's terrible home record in the playoffs and here we are.
The reality is the Celtics team has had a ton of red flags (that we're still there against the Hawks) and people just ignored them, chalked them up to a bad game or simply thought all their issues would go away in the playoffs.

Absolutely no one should be off limits here and especially Tatum or anyone else. We all come here to vent, celebrate, express emotions over the Celtics- we are the reason this place still exists….the posters.
It says I have been here since 2016, I don't remember, I get it confused with CB. I can tell you, I am here for almost every game and post-game (mostly every single day tbh), maybe missed a handful of games in that entire time. Do you really think I was thrown off by mere criticism?
I probably shouldn't respond but come on people, be reasonable, I have seen plenty of critiquing and done some myself... you know I wasn't talking about that.
I’m just a poster here but I’ve learned over the years from some good moderators that if the thought “I probably shouldn’t respond” comes into my head before I type than I probably shouldn’t- it saved me a lot of trouble believe it or not. still working on it actually lol.
I wasn’t talking about you individually- and it’s likely your response wasn’t directed at me either and you are moderator now and when multiple people & not just the usual suspects are complaining about how things are being handled here there definitely needs to be some self reflection from people who aren’t JUST posters.
We can ALL be better that’s for sure but when policing thoughts because someone doesn’t agree with them (again not you) becomes a thing that’s a slippery slope. Your job is hard enough and you do it for free but the users will always create the content here (NOT the other way around) and it’s the content that should be regulated and or disciplined after the fact when necessary but it should never be dictated.
Go Celtics!!! In 7 baby!!!

100% true. People have been saying since day one that the Celtics bigs are an issue and Stevens didn't do anything to address it.
You're telling me Dwight Howard for 10 minutes would be any worse than Horford?

Even if Boston wins tomorrow does anyone have any real confidence that this team can win the game 7 at home?
I've just never seen anything like this where a home team struggles so badly. The 2008 team had issues and besides that first Pistons game in the Eastern conference finals they absolutely took care of business at home

100% right about our bigs. Brad knew it was a problem but never fixed it. Personally, I’d roll the dice with Blake and see if he can give you some energy and grit. You know he will fight unlike Rob who seems more concerned with his “ look”. John Zannis was spot on last night when he said everyone on the team has a different idea of whats wrong and what they should be doing. I think Joe could one day be a good coach but brad should never have gambled on him when we had a chance to win a title. I think we need more size and toughness especially down low. I would trade smart for players and picks and then give JD some run. If it comes down to brown or tatum I’m trading Tatum. He’s not clutch and he disappears way too often. Brown is a better leader

We are too comfortable at home. Our players seem
More concerned about their home life than winning the game. The modern nba player has too much money and has been given too much way too soon. They don’t play when they’re hurt and they are coddled at every turn. They stand on the backs of players who in their lifetime earned a fraction of what these guys are paid in a year. Yet they think they have it hard.
