Re: Around the NBA 12
Warriors should have traded Wiseman the moment they found out he was totally lost in their system in his rookie year. They held way too long to that asset and got nothing for it.

Re: Around the NBA 12
I’ve been enjoying most of the games I’ve watched, I want to see GSW lose because the fans on here are crazy, but mainly I want to see Denver win. Jokic is so enjoyable to watch and with less wank than the other stars

Atkinson and Borrego are Bucks HC candidates.

I'll take the L on SGA, did not think he was capable of this.
Why do we always get the Kentucky players that underperform and pass on the ones that blow up

Good for SGA, but the fact that we get singled out as if we drafted him and stupidly traded him away is pretty funny.
We had him on our team for 5 seconds, and got Miles Bridges plus 2 2nds.
Yet the Knicks took Kevin Knox, Magic took Bamba, Cavs took Sexton all before both of them and got zero 2nds yet somehow we are the ones that are mocked for it. Hell Even Wendell Carter before SGA and Bridges looks pretty bad.

I mean, would save us some PR optics at least. Just saying, don't think any franchise is looking at our Miles Bridges experience and saying yeah give me some of that.

We need some positive vibes leading up to the lottery. I don't even want to think about Miles until we find out what his contract terms are. In the meantime we need to will Wembanyama as a Hornet into existence.

I would say 80% of NBA fans could care less about our PR optics.
Those fanbases would love if we didn't resign Miles and they snagged him in FA.

Bagley, Bamba, Knox are objectively terrible basketball players 5 years in. We already have Collin Sexton, but his name is Scary Terry.
I was very much on the SGA wagon and was devastated we traded him on draft night... but my idea of SGA was as a complementary combo guard who could do a little of everything, maybe topping out at Jrue Holiday's level if we were lucky. I don't think anybody imagined he'd ever be a 25-30ppg scorer.
investigate Adam Silver

Re: Around the NBA 12
How soon we forget that there were a lot of strong rumors and indications that we were very interested in both Collin Sexton and Kevin Knox leading up to the draft. Who's to say we wouldn't have selected both of them over both miles and SGA if they were available.

Booker, Mitchell, SGA. 3 All-NBA guards that we either were rumored to like and passed on or literally drafted but traded.

Re: Around the NBA 12
watching both playoff games back to back, Jokic is the clear MVP to me. Runs that team beautifully, Embiid ambles around and does some stuff between falling over and crying

Everyone in the world outside of Philadelphia knows Jokic is the more valuable player. But the MVP is a narrative driven award. Embiid didn't have one yet, so its his turn. Kind of like American presidential selections by the DNC/RNC and the Oscars.
