If love and Gabe combine for a mediocre 3-10 from 3 we’re having a very different conversation right now. It took 40 from Brunson on their homecourt, couple with a hobbled Jimmy and abysmal shooting to barely squeak away. We’re a far better team, show it Friday

Sometimes it’s as simple as this. I have confidence we’ll take care of business on our home court. Heat in 6.

I didn’t like the hack a Shaq stuff either. He was 3-4

Wade used to say when you resort to that you’re just throwing in the towel and don’t believe in yourself anymore defensively.

As disappointing as this is and as frustrating as it is, we’re going to lose games. There’s just no way around it, I’d love to go 16-0 but it’s never going to happen lol (until we get Dame :o ) just dig deep Friday and close this one out, we’ll adjust and well shoot better at home

Yep...Spo made 3 mistakes I didn't like tonight off the top of my head.

Duel PG lineup
Intentionally fouling Robinson and giving up on defense
Taking Lowry out with 5 fouls and waiting till it was too late to matter to bring him back

For real. Just like the '90's, it's nearly impossible for Miami to win a playoff game in MSG. 5 vs. 8 every time.

Jimmy just wasn't right. He Physically wasn't able to take over the way we've seen him these PO's. Further proved something physically wrong with him when Grimes stole the ball from him.

Coaching staff obviously aware but wanted to try to finish this series w/ Butler on the floor. Why the f*ck not. We really wanna criticize Jimmy & Spo's decisions now? w/out both we'd be fishing. We get a loss and fans are back to their bullsh*t.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

We kept spamming threes all game, barely went inside. They earned more free throws than us.

Damn bro, props to Jimmy if he's walking like that off the court, you can barely tell on the court, must be on some gooooooood medicine, with all those blocks and good defense he's still playing.

I swear, in playoff games where our opponent parades to the free throw line, nine times out of ten it's against a predominantly jump shooting team. Ridiculous.

40 free throws for the Knicks tonight. The most they have attempted in a game this season, and 14.5 more than their season average.

The way their fans complained you'd think they shot their fewest FTs of the season

I know this is your board so this is my last reply but, I would like to point out the Hack-A-Robinson situation, and the Heat also just fouling Mitch downlow before he can go back up every time, which led to an extra 8 FTAs, so that 40 really should be around 32, which while still high, isn't insane. The Heat really don't have many players that draw fouls by driving, Jimmy basically carries the Heat as far as getting to the line, where as the Knicks have a couple more guys that tend to drive and draw fouls in RJ/Randle/Brunson, so the FT disparity should be in the Knicks favor a lot of the time but surprisingly hasn't been throughout the series so far.

Kudos for the team fighting their way back after the disaster of the 3rd qt to narrow the lead down to 2 pts but MIA needs those 3's in the first half to fall..... Onto game 6 now!
