If they blow this series lead and he's not fired, the organization is sending a clear message that they aren't serious about doing what it takes to win a championship.

Melton if he is not shooting well should see his minutes given to House . Tucker the same.

I actually believe these guys play better on the road so it’s not over. Less expectations and pressure.

To me, the key to stopping Boston is to run them off the 3-pt. line. Make them take contested 2's with Embiid protecting the rim.
I'll give up 2's, but not 3's. Tough 2's are not their game, and don't create those 13-0 runs in a couple of minutes. Make the game a slog, and it plays into our hands.

He wont be fired.

He put this team in a very good position to win it, specially this season. You dont hear criticisms on Doc this season, except from the fans. Even our guys love Doc.

I just have to believe that Harden will look in the mirror at least once these upcoming days and tell himself that he needs to play out of his mind in this game if he has any desire to ever win a championship.

He wont be fired.

This team is one of the most well coached team. We’ve been the best team since trade deadline, since play-in and in crunch time in reg season and playoffs. One of the top defensive and offensive team.

Even for this game. We were down big. We were able to bounce back. We got the lead 5 mins remaining. We were able to get into our spots. We just didnt make those shots.

Tucker needs to practice corner 3 in the next 48 hrs. 500 shots per day.

Harden will bring it. He has a tendency to choke in G6 and play much better in G7.

That’s my point. Stop giving them open looks . Force them into being drivers and into finishing around them the rim or over Joel instead of giving them open looks. Another weakness is transition defense which allowed them to get open threes as well.

Stop the threes with better switching defense or run them off
Make them drivers instead of dribble and kick out passes
Force them to finish around the rim and Joel
Get back on defense on transition quicker

On move the ball side to side more to get better spacing
Hit youre shots earlier in the shot clock
Play with more pace and force to take the crowd out early.
Establish the big guy earlier in the shot clock
More pick and rolls. I felt I only saw one pick and roll all night. That is just wrong. Comes back to harden. Needs to be more assertive with his passing and offensive execution

On the end those are all things that are easily correctable

I love how we have to stew over G7 for 60+ hours. Well, at least the ones of us who haven’t thrown in the towel.

I'm not sure they ran a P&R until the 3rd quarter. Rivers was determined to get PJ Tucker going.

Even with PJ we got good looks there.

Maxey caused more damage down the stretch, but we wont be there if not for him so im not blaming him out side crunch time.

He missed a step back 3, an open 3 then Tatum dropped 2 of his 3 3s on him.

Another guy is Harden. He missed a stepback 3, a drive that lead to TO (horford deflection) and that weak drive against Al which made Biid mad.

Going to be saving hyrule this weekend

Legit had another mental breakdown from this loss…. Don’t like how it made me feel

Cooling off I am not as mad right now. Had a chance but the shots didn’t fall. Got good shots too

Doc was fine… I would have stuck with Niang but I also said Niang couldn’t hang this series so I can’t really fault him there either. Biid has been incredible on defense but straight cheeks on offense….regardless of this outcome his needs an ego check on his needed role offensively especially now that he has the mvp. Harden just missed shots it wasn’t like games 2 and 3 imo.

But whatever i think boston got some mojo back and will blow us out this game… but I won’t be there to see it lol. I almost wish they just got blown out or swept at this point lol….. hate how this dumb **** is so important to me and my mindset.

Hope I am wrong and hope this season truly is different

But I am legit on the blow it up train mentally right now…. Maxey can stay but everyone else may just be too broken

**** it

If we lose game 7 leave Glenn in Boston and get Bud in here asap. That’s the only silver lining to another epic choke.

yeah replace Doc with another career choke artist who hates adjustments but gets props because he won a fluke chip.

If we replace Doc...it needs to be a guy with ideas and **** beyond "gaiz play with pace doe"...we need a basketball mad scientist that can figure out how to win with a center as your best player. Thats not Bud...thats not Doc...thats not D'Antoni....Nurse is a nut but might be but who knows.

You cant give a short leash on people, that way they wont be able to make the best decisions. They’ll be too short sighted and too data driven.

Next coach will then just blindly rely on data, and wont do the other moves if not justified by data which may not be applicable on a given situation.

We got a good chance to win it. A very good one. Thats all you can get in life. There’s no certainty but uncertainty

How do you blame a coach when Harden guess 4 for 16, Melton 0 for 4 on open shots. They just missed shots. They got more shots at the rim, turned Boston over 17 times.

I think they got gassed from the comeback in the 3rd and ran out of steam in the end.

Getting rid of Doc isn’t going to change anything, it’s a players league, and the players here are proven losers.

And they don’t exactly have the cap room or assets to go out and acquire non losers stars.

The Sixers next season are going to be the same team with or without Harden and one or two new mediocre bench guys and that’s going to be it.

And if Harden does stay it’ll probably be on a max deal which would br a terrible idea. The Sixers either get it done on Sunday or they’re kinda F’d going forward.

Which is why blowing it up is likely the best move long term.
