James Jones deserves most of the blame for this for continually sitting on his hands and not make trades or signings to improve the roster.
Our roster is full of one dimensional players and not enough slashers and a lack of overall talent. While Denver signed KCP and Bruce Brown we had to settle for a washed up Ross, TJ, Shamet and D.Lee.
Part of that is due to the KD trade but even before we had glaring weaknesses like a lack of a reliable backup PG and not enough size at the PF position leading us to be outrebounded and out muscled in the paint. Expect to see JJ and Monty let go in the summer with the moronic Mat Ishbia wanting to buy himself a championship roster.
