Yo, I gotta say thank you DA for not showing up to the last game you'll ever see in a suns uniform. Because we lost I went to the bar last night and pulled an 8. So just remember, theres always a silver lining, even if DA is on your team.
"Mannnnn I’m like the guy that pissed this whole board off saying literally all year no Mikal, no Mikal in the KD trade."

That's awesome, hope the guy treated you well. He wasn't too rough and bruising.

1- A strong, long, athletic lockdown defensive Wing/Forward that can lockdown opposing team's scorers.
2- Multiple knockdown snipers (shooters) that can open up the floor for us.
3- A skilled ballhandler/ Iso scorer that can get to the rim and generate free throws for us.
4- A strong, physical 4/5 that has a high motor and is non-stop aggressive and a great rebounder.
5- A very poised playmaking guard that can play strong POA defense AND has a very good assist-to-turnover ratio.
I've actually identified some pretty solid value options for each of these needs in both free agency AND/OR via the draft (2nd round to undrafted range) with respect to our limited flexibility and lack of assets. If curious about any positional needs 1-5, Just ask and we can discuss who I've been tracking this whole time. Also now that we have significant free time in our offseason, people should check out my draft pages to see all the low-cost steals that could turn things around for us and perfectly address our positional concerns.
Number 1 could be Craig, although he is not long and then he can struggle by being long on the court.
Number 3 is Booker, only that he strongly needs to work on his selling fouls.
I do not know whether we need shooters when our main weapon are two players who will get into or near the paint for a long two most of the time. Two super players who does not make the most of today's game, as they just ocassionaly get FTs to their side.
Number 4 is a must and has been for a long while. Smith could have been that player. But indeed we need a PF who can play like you say.
Number 5 is the most needed position we need to cover. WE cannot depend on Paul, sadly, any longer.
I have tiered options for 1-5 in each of lower scale free agency, as well as through the drafts 2nd round to undrafted ranges in order to give us greater chances of still securing a player that can address our positional concerns IF our primary target as Miyagi astutely pointed out) is coveted and scooped up before we can get them. Multiple-tiered options gives us greater odds of success.
#1 could be Craig, But for low-scale free agents, I personally was looking a bit more at bigger, longer options like: Kieta Bates Diop, KZ Okpala, and Wenyen Gabriel (more aggressive/longer, younger, and more athletic Montrez Harrell). Or via the draft (2nd round) Bilal Coulilaby, Leaky Black, Alex Fudge, Emmanuel Miller (Leonard Miller's brother). Number 3 YES! We do have Booker, However, we still need solid depth behind him as Shamet and to a lesser degree (reliability) just ain't it! So to address our ball handling/ iso needs and free throw generation, in free agency, I'm looking at cheaper options like: Kendrick Nunn, Dennis Schroder, Dennis Smith Jr, Aaron Holiday, Shake Milton, Hamidou Diallo (not a great shooter, but very strong, super athletic, good size at 6'5, a very strong rebounder and strong scoring around the rim and free throw generation). And via the draft (depends upon if we actually add a pick or two)??? But in the 2nd round, Marcus Sasser, Jalen Pickett, Mike Miles, Judah Mintz, Isiah Wong, Tyrese Hunter, Jazian Gortzman, Antione Davis, Max Abmas, Jordan "Jelly" Walker, Darius Mcghee. We definitely need top-notch sharpshooters to open up the lanes for Booker's and Durant's drives (helps get to the rim and draw fouls). But also to keep defenses honest and also open up the mid-range more for Book and Durant to get higher percentage shots without defenses crowding them. Number four in free agency could be: Naz Reid, D.rew Eubanks, Tristan Thompson, Cody Zeller, Alex Len, Robin Lopez, WENYAN GABRIEL, Ed Davis, DeMarcus Cousins, Derrick Favors, Norvelle Pelle, JaMychael Green, Reggie Perry, EJ ONU, Moses Wright, Marcus Bingham Jr? And via the draft (more easily) Trace Jackson Davis, DAY'RON HOLMES, Oscar Tshiebwe, Zach Edey, Noah Clowney, Adama Sanogo, Mohammed Gueye, Ousmane N'diaye, Adem Bona, JAKE STEPHENS, Norchad Ormier, Armando Bacot, JESSE EDWARDS, JOHNNI BROOME, Efe Obiogu.
Number 5 for our needs for a poised floor general type with good playmaking and a good assist-to-turnover ratio in free agency could be: Kendrick Nunn, Raul Neto, Ryan Arcidiacono, Darren Collison, Shariffe Cooper, RJ Nembhard, Kevin Pangos. Or via the draft (2nd round to undrafted): Reece Beekman, Jalen Pickett, Ryan Nembhard, JAMAL SHEAD, Tyrese Hunter, Kerr Krisa, Tyler Kolek, Yuri Collins.
***Could Marquis Nowell or Tyger Cambell (BOTH undrafted range) be our version of Jose Alvarado??? And none of these players are even figured into potential trade prospects either.

Do the right thing Ishbia. Do the right thing.
I expect to start my day to this news. Suns have to eat 30 million dollars though. Another JJ special there with extending Monty after last year's failure
Had to wait almost two days longer than I wanted but boy am I glad this was the last game Monty coached.
