We will Always be limited by his ineptitude. It’s 2023. It has to end.

Disagree. Not a perfect coach but still above average. We overachieved. Randle and RJ are frauds. RJ still has some hope but Randle is a loss cause.

Nothing matters until Randle is gone.

Team did well considering its talent level, the Hear eliminated the 1 seed bucks. Nothing to be ashamed about in losing to them.

Both Thibs and Randle need to be gone or nothing matters.

What adjustments did he make against the Heat? What offense sets did he run?

What was he thinking with some of those lineups?

Then you have Randle. He has had decent regular season games against the Heat, only for him to turn into a pumpkin in the playoffs. It's like he doesn't know what he's don't or there and his lack of effort sucks the energy fun the team.

They both need to go.

Thibs/Randle experiment is done in my eyes. If they decide to move RJ so be it. Brunson/Randle/RJ has to be broken up and roster need serious adjustments at key positions that guys got paid for.

Knicks would have won today if one other player showed up. That's not on Thibs.

More over reactionary nonsense.

There are tons of coaches with the same limitations. Sure if there is a better coach available but there isn't.

Most nba coaches have similar limitations or worse.

Yeah we can’t put this loss on Thibs. RJ started great attacking and then he just stopped. Randle didn’t even show up. We don’t have a single reliable shooter to space the floor. Robinson has awful hands in the middle. Just way too many flaws. I’d say we should have given Fournier a look but he is awful on the defensive end.

Why did we double a hobbled Jimmy all series, allowing Miami’s supporting cast to hurt us from 3?

Why not defend Jimmy with Grimes/Hart all series and force him to beat you while staying home on Bam and Miami’s shooters?

I feel like we fed into the playoff Jimmy narrative and gave him too much respect. Cuz even from an analytics standpoint, Jimmy takes two’s. I’d rather get beat giving up tough contested two’s than wide open back breaking threes all series that control momentum.

Nah. Not reactionary at all. We've seen it all year and over his coaching career with the Bulls, too. His decision-making, play-calling, and defensive schemes are predictable. Sure, some NBA coaches have similar ways of thinking, but I don't want those coaches. I'm ready to try something new. Give the players a different voice with new ideas to generate points and throw different schemes out there. Thibs only likes to run the same types of plays with little to no spontaneity.

That's why if the opposing team successfully figures us out (like MIA did), we really have to work extra hard to score because what else is there?

They also did nothing to adjust to the full court press on Jalen all series. It was like no one cared. Just let them front the dude all the way down the court!

You'd think that the one time when we really started to generate offense is when we sped the game up, but no, let's go back to slow-mo offense so the MIA defense is perfectly set and ready for whatever we wanted to do (ISO).

This is why Thibs needs to go. He doesn't adjust to the moment. The moment just passes him by.
