He's not paid like one, but he is. This is what role players do in the playoffs. 17 points one night, 5 the next. Playoffs is supposed to be driven by stars. If the Sixers get rid of Harris he's just going to be replaced by another role player. And frankly, likely a worse one. It's not like you're going to be replacing him with Luka Doncic.
For the Sixers to get out of the 2nd round, it's going to need to happen with their stars. And until someone decides to buy Embiid and Harden a heart, then unless they somehow can go out and get another superstar with no draft picks to trade, one young tradable player, and no cap room, then I don't see it changing. They have a chance to prove everyone wrong Sunday, we'll see what they're made of.

Hoping for a good result but need at least a great effort. I can handle a game 7 loss but it would be demoralizing to end this season on a bad effort.

Defend the 3-pt. line, force them into taking 2's (which they hate to do), don't allow second chances, take care of the ball, and run the stuff they can't defend, like the P&R. Do these things even decently and the Sixers win Sunday.

Statistics can be deceiving. I'm sorry, but if Tucker and Melton are taking shots in crunch time, and Embiid doesn't take a single shot, something went awry.
There seems to be this circling of the wagons in the media around Rivers, but I can't accept that he isn't at least partially (I feel more so than partially) at fault for his franchise player not getting a shot with the game on line. But that's just me, I guess.

They came out tight as a drum same as game 3 and got behind 10 again. Thats on Rivers. Would have could have should have. I would say that if you are relying on Harden and Harris to be consistent in the playoffs you could be in trouble. Also, part of the reason Memphis parted with Melton is because after a strong regular season he couldn't make shots in the playoffs last year.

That Embiid goaltending and Maxey free throw are major rhythm disrupters that can change the outcome of the game. I am serious. I won’t even get into the hacks/no calls Harden gets every game because that’s what it is and won’t change.
I understand the league wants its golden kids to advance but you have got to do it less blatantly.
For once, can G7 be played without any fixing?

I don't care how anyone else plays Embiid better have more then his season averages on good percentages. People can slag Harden all the want but he has literally won two games for them in this series. Lets see the MVP come through in the biggest game of his career. Im done if we get another so so game with bad body language and the sad face presser afterwards after we lose. Done! If this team can't get it done I don't see a path to a better chance so might as well blow things up. Harden is going to get you pennies on the dollar in a trade and you can justify resgining him at his age if they wont be good enough to get past the second round.

Gotta disagree with this take. Offensively Tatum is having a much worse series than Embiid. And yet why are we tied 3-3? Because Tatum has more teammates that can be relied upon to carry the scoring load when he is struggling than Embiid does. If the Celtics lose, should they trade Tatum and blow it up?
Harden has been feast or famine this series. Maxey has also struggled until the last 2 games. Also as great as his defense on Tatum has been, Harris has been virtually a non-factor on offense. Remember we're paying him $38 million. Is that worth for a guy whose role has pretty much been reduced a defensive specialist?
My point is let's surround Embiid with better fitting pieces and more depth before we decide to blow it up.
