Yeah, and I paid nothing. Right now it's only online.

But in December they're releasing a deluxe box set with 8 more songs in stores, I'll pick it up then.

Well the Rockies are going to the World Series.
Our last World Series was in 1945. The Rockies first MLB game was 48 years after that.
Pathetic. Another expansion team gets to the World Series before us.

I agree as of right now Carmelo is better, but this could be the year that it changes. Probably more like next year, but there is a chance Deng passes Carmelo up on the SF elite list.

Overall I think Deng will have a better career, but I'm a Bulls fan so thats bias.

I guess me and Duck drink from the same cup. No Kool-Aid here, Ecto-Cooler is my drink of choice.

I forget 2poor is a Nuggets fan.

How 'bouts we make a little bet. Maybe one week of a sig choice? hows that?

The bet must be interesting. How about this... I'll say the point differential for Carmelo and Deng, I'll set the over under at 5. Hows that?

If you think its fair, considering Melo averaged 26.8 and Deng had 18.8, then we have a bet.

I want to say the over under will be UNDER 5 points. Meaning if Melo averages 30 pts-Deng will be at 26 pts.

or...

If Melo has 27 pts-Deng will have 23 pts.

Hows that? is it fair? Do you bite 2poor?

As an impartial fan of a seperate team (Garnett + Pierce + Jesus Shuttlesworth = Title!), I love you BeP, but this is a losing proposition. Deng really can't create his own shot effectively right now and even factoring in improvements, hoping for more than 21 PPG is reaching. Meanwhile Carmelo's a good bet for at least 28 PPG if not more.

I know I know, I guess its a kool-aid type bet, except I really have faith in Deng this year.

I know its preseason, but hes looked so good.

I stand by my bet!

:wordyo:

Another way to look at it is Carmelo increases his assists, defensive stats, and decreases his ppg, which I believe would be great for the Nuggets.

I have never been a big fan of Luol but he is really impressing me this preseason. If he continues to play like he is this preseason the Bulls are going to win 55 games and maybe more.

The thing that people constantly overlook with Deng/Melo is presence on the court.

Deng never has and never will demand the defensive attention that Melo does, and Melo still puts up more impressive numbers.

(Melo's rebounding totals are skewed because he's asked to leak out on the break, and in the past his assist numbers have been skewed because of the lack of true finishers on the Nuggets. You should see Reggie Evans try to catch a pass in the paint...painful)

I believe that Melo will easily be +5 in the ppg column, and that his assist totals will rise. Rebounding numbers all depend on the focus of the team. With guys like Camby, Nene, Kenyon, and Hunter in the paint, there aren't going to be many rebounds to go around.

Oh, and kudos to GYBE for being the fan of the team with the top MOH candidate. RealGM needs such an award.

(Most Obnoxious Homer)

I'll let you guess who it is. I really hope he gets waived soon, he's really worn out his welcome on pretty much every common board.
