Who do we need to root for in the GSW LA game? I feel like they both deserve to be out of the playoffs and lose much more than just this game but that is all that is up for grabs tonight.

LeBron is the GOAT for me, and it's unfortunate he has only 4 rings, injuries in 15 and bad supporting cast 03-10 took away from his legacy, I'm rooting for him to get another ring.

Respectfully but wholeheartedly disagree. He mocked Dirk in '11 when he was sick, completely disrespectful. He claims to be a champion for human rights, but tows the China line so his bank account doesn't get effected. Plus "best friends" with 2 of the most unlikable guys that ever played in the NBA, Wade & CP3. I'd hate to see him or Phx advance.
That said, glad they beat Memphis

Main knock on LeBron is that isn't a true Alpha, personality wise, he may have been the best BB player on that Heat team, but Wade was the actual leader, and he followed his footsteps, Dirk still dislikes to Wade to this day, but he has no problems with LeBron.
About his politics, the whole league isn't really my cup of tea

Re: Mavsless PO thread
The LAL vs GSW series highlights the mistakes from Mavs management.
1. Completely wrong in trying to match up with GSW with forward like Powell (that's loser mentality)
2. Gamble way too much (with trade assets for big names instead of athletic talents)
3. Prioritize relationship way too much (i.e. Kidd, Powell, etc...instead of really talented players / coaches)
This team sucks because of Cuban's way doing business. This team never really thinks thoroughly about the way of doing businesses. Since the hard cap is employed, the Mavs is never good again: No more taking on salary for talented player.

Re: Mavsless PO thread
Mavs have one offseason to figure it out or they screw themselves for a long time and Luka will be gone.
They need NAZ and to draft 2 centers or a center and a PF in the coming draft prioritizing Edey as a must in the second round is a must just because of his potential when they league shifts back to the older way of playing. Lively or Gregory Jackson or Hendricks if he is there at 10 or maybe you get Edey Gregory and Lively with the right drop down luck and strategy.
Dream lineup for me would be to put this group out there eventually as starters. The league will shift back to a league where whoever has the size and skilled bigs is winning the rings.
Luka Hardy
Irving Green
Hendricks or Gregory Jackson if Hendricks is gone which I cannot see him falling to 10 so next best option is GG Jackson.
NAZ and if Wood is left without a contract we may want to keep him for less $$$ just for depth
Edey and Lively both if possible. Maybe add a vet for insurance like Plumlee is an option if any money is left after signing NAZ.
Davis is killing GSW so their approach is a win or lose strategy based on getting hot or not from 3. That is a gamble every time and when you are not hot you lose every time.
Steph sucked last night so LA beat them.
They're under pressure now to win 2 in a row and I doubt that they have what it takes to come back but it would be interesting to see the games stretch to a game 7 which always is more enjoyable from a fans perspective I just lack the faith that they can do it and LA may even take them down in 5 games.

I dislike both teams so I hope they both lose and hate that that is not possible. In the next round I hope Denver takes them down because I sort of hate Phoenix almost as much for their asinine behavior.

I want to see the Suns lose out since they traded so much for KD.

He should send the Mavs a cut of his pay, Wiggins also.

Let's not mock this please, knowing our FO, we'll trade for him, probably send assets

Mark Cuban has always made sure that other teams’ free agents get top dollar. Free agents visit Dallas to bid up their value but rarely sign in Dallas.

Well Joker is going to be extra motivated to win after that story about ballots came out. Someone needs to be fired.

Brunson can score all he wants, but if he cant defend, he's not getting far.
