You can be a all-time great player(like top 10-15)even if you are not on the LBJ level....Both can be true!

Should the Warriors make it back to the finals, this will Stephen Curry 2nd year in a row he been to a finals appearance post Kevin Durant and his 7th finals appearance overall.
I’ve never seen somebody be so consistently wrong. It’s actually impressive.

I don't want to ever hear about anything about Curry and top 10 all time ever again. If you can't beat LeBron on his last legs it was never Currys era.
Teams were matched, as in having second options you can't trust on (like day to Davis) and both teams were frankly bloody awful and miracle they even made it into the playoffs. Leaders of the teams is where the battle was won.

People whining about perimeter defense is just comical. If you're throwing up bricks constantly, doesn't matter. Analytics failure on display in this series.

Of personal dominance of being perceived as clear cut best player? 1, 2016 but they lost.. and well after the finals there was no questions who was actual king of nba around that time.

Not sure if he is top10, but Curry is 35 years old (although with very low career minutes).
Like Lebron he is at an age where you can basically only add to your resume.
A lot of top10 guys at age 35 would have done worse here than Curry

Absolutely but I still have him in reasonable 17-20 range (where top 10 had no basis ever). He has pretty bad longeativity for this era and apart or last year's breeze playoffs he was never the true alpha of his team in champion year. Still great career and top4 pg ever to play after Magic, Big O and West.

At 38 Lebron still owns Curry. Can't wait for the WCF. I expect Denver to come strong out the gates, but Lakers will make some adjustments. Hoping its a tight series.

Re: This is OBVIOUSLY Steph's era- not Lebron's.
LeBron came to Steph's conference and won a title within 2 years.
LeBron eliminated Steph the very first time they met in the western conference playoffs.
LeBron has eliminated Steph from the playoffs from the Eastern Conference and from the Western Conference.
Unless Steph goes to the Eastern Conference and beats LeBron from there, he'll never be able to prove that he could do what LeBron has done (remaining dominant after switching coasts and uprooting your life on and off the court i.e. displays of extreme mental toughness, unshakable focus and unwavering commitment to the game).
Switching conferences and winning championships in both conferences is going to do wonders for LeBron's legacy.

They're both all-time great players, and it's been their era, together. LeBron just had another era pre-2015. No need to tarnish both of their legacies, they're cemented in my view.

If Steph is above KD it’s slight. KD is going to finish top 10 all time in scoring and he’s worlds better as a defender especially in the more recent years.
Yeah I have KD over him actually.

Yup. I also have him at best in 17-20 range and 4th best PG ever.

Me too but I am not sure I have any of Curry, KD in my top 20 of all time.

Curry’s awesome, just a down series for him and he had little help. But of course it’s been LBJ’s era.

Well, you're pretty clearly in the minority there. But you know, opinions are like buttholes, everyone has one.
The last ten years has been about Steph and Bron, it's been their era, like Magic and Bird. They've shared it despite both trying their utmost not to. Guys like KD, Klay, Green, Wade, Bosh, AD are their wingmen, like James Worthy, KAJ, McHale, Parish before them.
My gut feeling is these two will meet each other one last time in the next couple of playoffs. And despite my guys losing I have really enjoyed seeing them compete yet again. Both utterly brilliant players, with daylight between them and anyone else from this generation of players

This is a good take. Bron and Curry share this era, but LBJ had another era before that where he was arguably the best player. They’re not in the same tier all time, but no need to diminish Curry. K-cuck is the guy who doesn’t belong in that conversation if the last few years have proven anything. IMO it’s small gap between LBJ and Steph and then big gap to K-cuck.
