Watched the first two episodes of Silo on Apple TV. I know nothing about the books, but it was pretty good. Looking forward to the rest of the season at the moment.

One of the best I've seen this year.

One of the best I've seen this year.

This doesn’t look or feel like a Guy Ritchie film. Which I guess makes it even more impressive.

In no way shape or form. None of the quick twitch witty dialogue and banter. No tongue-in-cheek moments. Just a great well-written, well-acted story Ritchie's work is usually pollenated with expressive characters. The two men that control this story give such reserved nuanced performances. Among Gyllenhaal's best work in my mind. Not sure I've seen him be better.

Such a good actor. One of the best imo.

Finally got around to watching the Mandalorian season finale. It wasn’t bad, but I like it when there’s just one and he’s kinda on his own instead of so many of them. Idk just matches the traditional Star Wars lore for me and hope that’s more of what season 4 goes back to.

The finals commercial that keeps coming on using Larry and magic has this sample for sure (it may actually be this actually song) but it reminds to throw it on again since It’s been awhile since I heard it….

Thanks for the link, hearing Hometown Glory sampled in a rap song was a fun surprise. I think they are using the original from Adele in the ad though.

19 didn't get nearly the attention that her following albums did but there are some really good songs on there.

I took my 15 and 18 year old boys to see the Wu Tang and Nas tour that just came through Australia (their first live concert). It was a great show, no Method Man for some reason, but everyone else was there. They played for well over two hours between them, with a hybrid live band and a pretty cool graphics show.

Crazy that Enter the Wu Tang and Illmatic came out 30 years ago.

I’ll be 100 I’m primarily a hip hop and rock guy my wife does love Adele but I never even knew what the sample was from but I’d wager that it’s way more likely Adele

Saw this a few months back as well….great show which is big because a majority of hip hop live sucks which is disappointing

I didn’t think it was bad but I agree I like him on mainly solo adventures and I thought some of the other characters acting was just so terrible this season….not that I watch for great acting lol.

Overall probably my least favorite season

Few hours into tears of the kingdom…I like it’s pace, the newer developed worlds and his abilities better than breath of the wild

Yeah, the sound was pretty good considering it was in a big arena. And it seemed like they put some effort into the preparation because it seemed pretty well rehearsed and flowed nicely.

I hadn’t managed to see either Nas or Wu Tang live before, despite being a big fan of both since I was in high school in the mid 90’s. So good to tick them off the old bucket list.

I get it’s part of the story they want to tell and show the background of the Mandalorions so I’m just hoping since they’ve done it that’s over and we can get back to like you said. The space western with a badass lead is where it’s at. Agreed on the acting too lol

I dont know if this has been mentioned in here before and is sort of a under the radar film but Nightmare Alley is a really good watch. Good story about a man played by Bradley Cooper who had nothing became a carny worker and made a living from being a medium, clairovoyant whatever you want to call it basically a con artist. Good little twist at the end. Good cast.

I am required by law to watch anything with Rebecca Ferguson in it. Show’s pretty good and premise has me hooked so I will keep watching, not that I have a choice in the matter.

The third episode was solid, I am really enjoying this show so far.
